Juliana is a Colombian Interdisciplinary Artist-Researcher based in London. As a dancer she interested in contemporary dance languages, improvisation and explorative movement tasks. She holds a BA in Performing Arts with an emphasis in Somatic and a BA in Social Communications with an emphasis in Editorial Production from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogotá. She recently culminated with distinction The MFA of Dance and Embodied Practice at the University of Roehampton, London.
She believes in the arts as tools to establish meaningful, reflexive and transformative conversations within communities. She has a background in education, working as a facilitator and teacher for more than ten years. She has collaborated with projects in Colombia and the UK as a researcher, facilitator, performer, dancer, producer and movement director.
