About Me
Build foundations.
Train for knowledge, not rank!

Achieving master level is often considered a milestone in martial arts.
However, it is essential to understand that this accomplishment represents only a new beginning.
Being a master should mean the end of your initial training and the beginning of building a solid foundation.

Some schools offer fast-track paths to rank, often by following a curriculum that includes only basic techniques with minimal depth.
This approach can feel more like a production line than a meaningful learning experience.

The rarity of mastery in earlier eras required much more time to achieve.
This longer journey instilled qualities such as perseverance, determination and tenacity – character traits that have kept many people engaged in martial arts for decades.

Mastery should be more than just a status symbol or an achievement; it involves responsibility.
Lower ranks of master, contrary to some beliefs, are not synonymous with mastery.
They mark the beginning of a deeper and more complete phase of training. Or rather, they should be!

Throughout your training, you have gathered various techniques and concepts.
As a master, your journey evolves to understand how
these elements fit together and where they can take you.

There are many masters, varying greatly in skill and dedication.
Unfortunately, rank alone does not guarantee a certain level of skill.

It is essential to understand that the grades mark a significant shift in focus from basic techniques to laying the foundations for deeper exploration.

A weak foundation can lead to poor training and development for years to come.
Many practitioners reach this level with poor physical skill,
neglecting the deeper aspects of art.

The journey from beginner to master must instill qualities such as perseverance, commitment, overcoming fears and obstacles, self-control – and ego control.

A grade is a metaphor for the journey you have undertaken.
It doesn't mean you are the best martial artist or that you are invincible;
It means you are ready. Ready to begin mastering yourself, inside and out.

True mastery of martial arts can take a lifetime,
and you must be willing to continually learn and improve.

There is a great disparity in standards between martial arts schools, which is a worrying situation.
Many of them, whose existence we have been reminded of recently,
are doing a disservice not only to themselves, but also to the martial art they study.

So, don't be one of those who run after rank, but rather after knowledge.
Let your passion for learning guide you.

True fulfillment lies in the depths of knowledge you discover,
and not in the scratching of the surface.

Marc
My name is Marc, 48 years old Combat Instructor, i live downtown Montreal, and i can travel. Great to meet You All Family️🙏❤️

What I teach has been refined by 41 years of experience in combative arts. My journey started when I was 7 years old. I realized that while Every Art had it's Beautiful Purpose, not One of Them integrated the best Aspects and Techniques of Each and combined them together in one simple and easy to learn comprehensive program.

I am reminded of a Quote by Bruce Lee: "Have no way as a way, and no limitation as limitation".

You won't have to train with me for years to become proficient..I guarantee You that after a single class, You'll already feel empowered.

I do not teach you to fight force with force. Instead, i teach you to understand human nature, align your mind, and use the Golden Ratio of movement: "Maximum impact with minimum effort".

In other words, instead of teaching you how to fight just by remembering moves, i will teach you how to instantly improvise strategies and tactics based on your opponent's next reaction, to be able to adapt to every circumstance and have blueprints of any given situation.

It is said : "fighting is like chess, at a hundred miles an hour with muscles".

Initial Assessment Plan -Establishing detailed goals

Striking and Grappling Program :
Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Grappling & Mechanics.
