Hey everyone,
I'm Mabel who is a full-time traveler and also a part-time online Chinese tutor.
I've been traveling for 7 years now, I've done tons of different things during my travel, Au pairing in Belgium, the US, and Mexico; Working holiday in New Zealand; Backpacking in Europe and Latin America; Working at a resort in the Maldives; volunteering in South Korea and more.
I'm also building up my travel blog right now.
I'm considering that I'm a patient person, very outgoing and open-minded, and maybe a little bit crazy too Like I've done some crazy things, for example, I don't know how to swim but I tried surfing in Puerto Escondido, Mexico and I hiked up to a freezing cold lagoon which is next to a snow mountain in Peru and I dug in and also drowned my-self. I know, sounds crazy, but no regrets, and I enjoyed either of them anyway.

I have 6 years of experience teaching Chinese since my first au pair year in Belgium in 2014.

And I'm still giving online Chinese classes to my host kids who I was taking care of as Au Pair in the US (2015-2016), but summer is here so I don't need to work at the moment and I'm thinking about why not I give class to other people who wants to learn Chinese, and this always makes me super proud! Thank you for learning my mother tongue!
I will mainly focus on conversation and also pronunciation, as a traveler and also a language lover, I learn some languages during my traveling. I picked up some French and also Spanish, not much but I totally feel you. 🏅(1)Learn Mandarin Systematically(Use textbook)

This course is for students who want to learn Mandarin systematically. In view of the basic and important role of Pinyin in Mandarin, the general knowledge of Pinyin will be taught in the first period, including the pronunciation of initials, finals, different tones, and the most common rules(If you have already know Pinyin, we could jump to the next step). Then you move to the next period, and the HSK textbooks 1 to 3 are recommended as the learning material. You will learn the most common-used words, phrases, sentence patterns, characters, and some interesting knowledge of Chinese culture. Besides, considering Chinese is a tone language, the pronunciation practice is provided throughout the whole learning process. After this period’s learning, you will master about 900 characters and over 1500 words, and your Chinese level will reach to B1, which means that you possess the basic communicative skills to live and travel in China.
