I can tutor young or budding chess players. From people who have never touched a chess piece to beginners who need that last little push to hit their rating milestone, this class suits all types of ages and players to help improve fundamentals and confidence.

I have tournament experience playing in the ECF Grand Prix with rating of 1431 (Online Rapid). I mainly play online, and have worked hard for a chess.com rating of over 1700. I have previously assisted the coach at my old school's chess club in bringing up young talent and helped many find a passion for the game.

The class will be remote and held online.

Hi, my name is Gabriel. I'm the head coach of the chess team of the National University of Mexico (UNAM) since 2010. I speak fluent English as I lived six years in Oxford, England, when I was a child and I practice it since then.

With the UNAM's team I have obtained the following titles:
