I cater my teaching for students of varying ages and abilities and can help you whether you are working towards a music exam or want to learn how to improvise on the piano. I also have a BMus music degree from the University of Cardiff and work regularly as a professional pianist and keyboardist.
Along with this, I have also taught music theory from the basics of understanding musical notation to advanced harmonic analysis.

About Me
Over 10 years of experience in piano teaching has helped me to develop a skillset and methodology to enable that students I teach make a high level of progress and ultimately have a rewarding and enjoyable time learning to play. Whether it’s supporting learners in the basic foundations of musical understanding or teaching more advanced performance techniques, I always strive for clear and efficient communication to motivate and inspire students to the highest degree.
Across my time in music education I have enjoyed teaching a range of abilities and styles including traditional ABRSM graded routes, specialised jazz improvisation courses as well as directing and arranging for larger scale ensembles such as wind orchestras and Jazz bands.
Alongside my experience in music teaching, I have also maintained a career as a performer, working across many venues within London and with a varied range of ensembles playing a myriad of styles including classical, jazz and pop.
I am above all committed to providing all students with an enjoyable musical education, which serves to motivate and inspire them to excellence.
