I am professional drummer with 20 years of experience in the drums. I have played in a wide range variety of bands (rock, blues, Percussion, Basque Popular Music, and Jazz). In addition, these are some remarkable bands that he has played with: “Mocker ́s” (progressive rock), “Deabru Beltzak” (Percussion band), "Iparbeltzok" (Jazz), and "Trikizio" (Basque popular music). I have also played in prestigious festivals like “Sziget Festival (Budapest)”, “Night festival" (Singapore), “Mundaka festival (Mundaka)”, “Euskalduna Jauregia (Bilbao)” and “Suns Europe festival”(Udine).

Hello fellow musician!
Have you ever dreamed of becoming a saxophone player?
Wheter you are trying to become a jazz improviser, or you have just started familiarizing with the instrument, I can teach you how to:

- be able to produce a beutiful sound;
- use music theory as a practical way to play correctly over changes;
- maximize the outcome of your practice-time;
- master the technique on your horn.

As a student, I often found myself struggling with resolving a particular set of problems. I was constantly confronted with higher-levelled players, wondering whether I would ever become able to express myself as they did through their music. Having been studying jazz for many years, I experimented with a lot of different learning methods, only to find out that music improvisation is something that is mainly acquired in very personal, differentiated ways. One of the most interesting things I experienced as an educator, when encountering students who shared my own past insecurities, doubts, questions, and struggles, was getting to understand a part of the person in front of me; and to find new ways to help grasp and internalize a theoretical or technical concept that could then enable them to formulate a more coherent musical idea. Even if every student is a unique individual, thus responding to different educational methods, I think that, over time, I was able to identify a red line around which I could create a method that can be beneficial to the majority of aspirational players.

For the past few years, I have been giving private instrument lessons to jazz players with varied backgrounds and experience.
My educative career consists of a traditional classical, MA in classical saxophone (Conservatorio G. B. Martini, Bologna), a BA in jazz saxophone (ibid.), and a BA in jazz saxophone called New York Jazz Bachelor at the Prins Claus Conservatorium in Groningen, where I am now attending a Jazz Master program.

Here is Giordano, an Italian trombone player here in town for the classical master at the Prince Clause Conservatory.
I started playing music when I was 6 and from that moment it has become my second voice. When I was 10 I got in touch with the trombone and from that moment I found the way my musical voice should sound.
After high school, I decided to continue in the music world and to make it my job. I did the Bachelor in the Conservatory "Arrigo Pedrollo" in Vicenza and the master in Castelfranco Veneto in the Conservatory "A. Steffani".
Now I am here in Groningen for a master's where I focused my attention on contemporary music.

Hello! I’m Roser, a flutist and piccolist currently living in Groningen. I graduated from my bachelor on 2023 in Conservatori Superior de Música “Mestre Tàrrega” in Castelló, Spain. In 2023 I moved to Groningen to start my master studies at Prince Claus Conservatorium. During my bachelor in Spain I worked as a flute and music theory teacher in three elementary music schools and I have complemented my experience with courses in pedagogical strategies.

The lessons will be fully adapted to each student and their musical interests or goals. For me it is very important that you can learn all the technical aspects of the flute but also that you can enjoy and express yourself playing the music you like the most.

The sources of my lessons come from the experience and knowledge I've gained not only from my music education - which consists of two instruments, two bachelor's degrees, and a master's degree -but also from being "out there" in the scene as a professional musician, from playing pit gigs, recording in the studios, touring as a band, being on festival stages, etc.

Apart from being in the scene, teaching music to people of various demographics has offered me the opportunity to strengthen the curriculum and the ability to deliver the material in a receiver-friendly way. As I have taught students who not only do music as a hobby, but also students with serious career plans in music, I am open to various styles of playing guitar (jazz, blues, fingerstyle, and other popular genres) to all levels.

My approach is heavily focused on individual student's goals and needs: If you are just starting to play the instrument, for instance, we will focus on learning the basic technique through simple and easy songs. I
f you are intermediate or advanced player already, we will focus on refining your already existing knowledge and find improvements to work on. Or, we can focus on specific themes, for instance improvisation, transcribing, and so on.

I also enjoy music theory very much and as I too struggled with grasping the concept when I was younger I am now more than happy to be able to present the world of music theory to anyone who is interested. We can begin with the basics that can help you improve on your instrument or we can dive deeper into more advanced fields of jazz theory.
