I offer personalized guitar lessons, tailored to your level, musical tastes and goals.

Guitarist for 20 years and certified JustinGuitar teacher, I favor a progressive approach that combines the pleasure of playing with the acquisition of solid foundations.

What we can work on together:

• Coordination of both hands and fingerstyle or pick playing techniques
• The songs you like, especially in pop, folk and rock

Each lesson is tailored to your level and preferences. We work on pieces that motivate you, accompanied by targeted exercises to overcome your difficulties.

After each session, you receive a personalized exercise program to know what to work on and continue to progress until the next class.

About Me

I have been a guitarist for 20 years and am a certified JustinGuitar teacher. Passionate about music my whole life, I love playing the guitar as much as sharing that joy with my students.
I was fortunate enough to spend three years busking in Ireland, particularly in Dublin and Cork, playing guitar, and several years in a rock band in Le Mans, France. These experiences allowed me to discover different playing styles, meet musicians from all walks of life, and develop my passion for music.
Today, I live in Chile and I teach guitar in French, English, and Spanish. I particularly enjoy working with beginners and those returning to the guitar, helping them progress at their own pace in a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere.

Education

I obtained a DEUG (two-year university diploma) in English from the University of Maine, in Le Mans, France. This university education in English language, literature, and linguistics allowed me to develop excellent command of English as well as strong intercultural communication skills.

Experience / Qualifications

JustinGuitar certified teacher with 20 years of guitar experience and over 100 students. Three years of experience as a street musician in Dublin and Cork, Ireland, and several years in a rock band in France. Guitar lessons in French, English, and Spanish.

Whether you're picking up the guitar for the first time, returning to playing as an adult, or building on skills you already have, my lessons focus on helping you develop a strong musical foundation, build confidence, and play real songs you enjoy.

Many people begin learning guitar by memorizing a few chords or songs, but understanding how music works makes it much easier to keep progressing. In my lessons, I'll guide you step-by-step, so they develop the skills and knowledge you need to learn new songs independently over time. Through practical, song-based learning, you'll develop essential skills like chords, rhythm, technique, and musical understanding. Each lesson is personalized to your goals, interests, and learning pace.

I'm also passionate about helping families connect through music! I offer family guitar lessons for parents and children, as well as siblings who want to learn guitar together. Whether you're all complete beginners or have different levels of experience, we'll build skills step by step and learn to play guitar together. My goal is to help your family make music a fun, shared experience while growing in confidence and musical ability.

I believe learning music should be both rewarding and enjoyable. I'll meet you where you are, encourage you through challenges, and celebrate your progress in a supportive environment where you feel comfortable learning, experimenting, and making mistakes.

The theory of everything tends to be really scary and music theory can be too. I am very keen to make music theory easy for everyone. For some people there is only one way to tackle the unmentionable but I believe there are many different approaches and one of them will click with you. It is simply finding out what is best for each person. Once we find the key we can unlock the problems that have puzzled you for ages.

Music theory needs to be more than a requirement, it needs to be the way to really appreciate the music you are playing. Certain aspects can also lead to additional practical skills such as improvisation which can be very useful as well as very enjoyable.

Whether you want to understand a particular aspect of music theory or If you struggle with music theory in general, then this is the class for you - why not give it a try?

The rule is simple: don't be afraid to make a fool of yourself! Students are encouraged to try, fail, and overall be proactive in learning new information in bite-sized chunks: all of that in a warm and comforting environment.

Depending on the personal goal of the student, we will learn/refine/explore the following topics:
- Fundamental techniques of playing electric bass
- Understanding and coming up with a bassline
- What makes it groove?
- How to improvise: soloing and walking bass
- How to change the underlying harmonies of a song to make it sound cooler (or weirder!)
- Understanding how the musical elements are glued in a song, and if you dare, how to write one yourself
- How to learn music or play music by ear

Languages: English (fluent), German (B1 and improving), Korean (native)

Do you have trouble reading music? Do you love listening to music, but don't understand time signatures, keys or chords? Music theory often sounds abstract, but with the right explanation and concrete examples it suddenly becomes a lot more logical, and even fun :)

For whom?
- Beginner or advanced musicians who want to better understand what they are doing.
- Students preparing for music theory exams (e.g. music school, entrance exams).
- Independent artists/producers who want to deepen their musical knowledge.
- Anyone who is curious about the language behind music.

What can you expect?
- Clear explanation, at your own pace.
- Theory made immediately applicable with examples on the piano.
- Extra attention to insight instead of learning dry rules by heart.
- Tutoring fully tailored to your level and goal (classical, pop, songwriting, production, ...).

About me
I obtained a Grade 8 diploma in Music Theory and also a Grade 8 Piano from the Royal Schools of Music. In addition, I hold a diploma in Audio Engineering from Hofa College. I am active as a music artist and producer myself. Thanks to this combination of classical training and practical experience, I know how important it is to make theory understandable, concrete, and musical. I use my own piano during lessons to clarify everything visually and audibly.

Possible topics:
- Learn to read music.
- Scales, chords & harmony.
- Form and analysis (classical, jazz or pop).
- Rhythm, time signatures & tempo.
- Music theory for producers/songwriters.
- Songwriting.
- Preparation for exams or entrance tests.

Practical
- 1-on-1 lessons, online or live (if you don't live too far away).
- I provide materials, or we work with what you need.
- No prior knowledge required. Lessons adapted to your level.

🎶 Feel free to send me a message with your questions or goals. We'll see how I can best help you.

Hello! I am a professional music educator with 16 years of experience dedicated to making music an indispensable part of life rather than just a lesson. Throughout my career, I have mentored over 1,000 students individually, guiding hundreds of them to successfully enter Conservatories and Fine Arts High Schools. 🏆

My philosophy is simple: Music is loved first, then learned. I prioritize building a deep connection between the student and their instrument. Whether you want to master the Piano, Violin, Guitar, or Oud, I offer a holistic approach that combines technical skill, ear training, and rhythm development.

I don’t believe in rote memorization. My teaching system is based on logic and understanding the "mathematics" of music. By simplifying complex music theory and "Makam" knowledge into practical and engaging methods, I ensure my students reach a stage-ready level in as little as one year. 🎼

In my online studio, I provide a high-quality learning experience using multi-camera angles and professional sound setups that rival face-to-face lessons. Whether you are a preschooler, a young aspiring artist, or an adult beginner, I create personalized, goal-oriented roadmaps to help you reach your musical dreams. 🌍

Let’s start this journey together and build a solid foundation that lasts a lifetime

I am only prepared to go as fast as you are willing to practice and if that is not much then we will use the lessons to have fun and explore music while you find your rhythm. If you have found an instrument that interests you or you want to try many then that is great. Most students start out by choosing covers they wish they could play, songs that they love and want to show off and this can be done within one or two lessons which is very gratifying. Scales, theory and technicality come later if desired or when we are making great progression.

If you are technically sound and driven however and wish to do exams, I can prep you for this easily but do not sign up with exam boards or institutions for you - this would have to be done yourself. I currently have a student studying for Grade 6 MTB flute.

All you require is the instrument and yourself. I will provide the rest and my teaching method depends on what you require.

For guitar and piano I use chords and tabs from ultimate guitar and want to get you playing your favourite songs as quickly as possible.

If technical classical playing on any instrument is what you require then I will provide you with pictures and diagrams sourced from various parts of the web that I find explain everything easily and I incorporate them with my own images and notes.

Every lesson you will be left with an image on your email or platform, that highlights the areas we worked on that day. I also create my own backing, harmony and rhythm tracks for whatever it is you may be learning. So that you can play, clap and sing along.

Face-to-face and online classes, in Spanish, Catalan and English.

I am a professional musician and music teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience.

As a performer, I have developed an extensive musical career in different styles and ensembles, including rock, jazz, and flamenco. Since 2025, I have been a member of Alfred García's band as a bassist and flautist on his tour of Catalonia.

What do I offer in my classes?

Develop your technique and sense of rhythm. Learn harmony, accompaniment, and improvisation. Beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.

How do I teach?

I am interested in each student learning to play a real instrument, developing their musical abilities and autonomy, always enjoying the process.

I adapt the classes to the interests, objectives and level of each person, combining technical work with musical practice, improvisation and the repertoire that interests them most.

It's not just about doing exercises: it's about acquiring tools to be able to make music independently.

Where?

Face-to-face classes in my fully equipped teaching space, in the Sants-Badal area, near the Badal and Santa Eulàlia metro stations.

I also offer online classes.

I teach in Spanish, Catalan and English.

If you want to start playing, pick up an instrument again, or improve your level, you can write to me and tell me what you would like to learn!

My approach is to help you develop your ears so they become the main instrument for your music journey. That applies to guitar, piano, etc. I teach you to learn theory as map for your musical journey and not as strict rules to follow. I teach you to teach yourself.
