About Me

I have been playing guitars for well over 15 years, and I love teaching music to all kinds of students and composing original music. I play guitars for my awesome band. The Maya's Grid (earlier known as The Malakar Experience) is a rock progressive instrumental trio. As a band we have performed at the unique and amazing FANGIRL Indie Fest in 2017, The Big Squat entertainment festival by Fangirl Live and the Levis Lounge in Mumbai, India.

I have been teaching for over 10 years and specialise in teaching acoustic/electric guitar, ukulele and music theory to beginner and intermediate students. I use structured and progressive lessons for efficient and effective learning. I have based the curricula on the international graded curriculum (Rockschool/Trinity) to enhance your learning experience. I am not a vocal teacher yet; I help students explore their own singing voice in conjunction with guitar for a more complete musical experience. Most importantly, I also help students discover and explore their own creativity on the guitar.

Apart from teaching music, I have engaged in a diverse set of activities, such as training newly recruited teachers, helping design curricula and courseware for different music instruments, conceiving and staging student performances, conducting workshops and other interesting activities around music education.

My only goal is to help my students achieve their goal and even more. Thus I teach my students to become capable and creative so that they can ENJOY PLAYING THE GUITAR regardless of whether they want to sing and strum, play in a band, perform on stage, compose music, get certified, etc.

Hi, my name is Jeremy and I've played music for 19 years, having performed over 200 concerts and composed with a wide variety of groups and ensembles across England and Belgium in many genres (Funk, R&B, Soul, Jazz, Rock, Alternative, Punk and more). I have completed 3 years of intensive bass study at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and am currently playing bass plus backing-vocals and song arrangement for Kids of the Elephant and Arrubio.

Hello! My name is Jade. I’m an undergraduate student and have been playing the piano for 15 years; I graduated from the Geneva Conservatory.

In my lessons, I focus on practice and improving technique. Although I have prepared lessons and pieces, I give my students a great deal of freedom in choosing their sheet music, the intensity of their lessons, and the type of instruction they need. I see the piano as a passion and, above all, an art form which, as such, shouldn’t become a source of stress or frustration. 🎵 My journey

I am a guitarist and composer, holding two master's degrees obtained at the IMEP in Namur in classical guitar and classical writing.
I have been teaching for 11 years to children, teenagers and adults, in academies, non-profit organizations, private lessons, online and in higher education. These experiences have taught me to adapt my explanations to very different profiles, from the first contact with the instrument to higher musical studies.

I enjoy performing classical music as much as playing a rock riff or transforming a film theme into a guitar arrangement. This curiosity runs through my career and my teaching: I love discovering my students' musical world and helping them bring it to life.

My stage experience ranges from rock bands to solo classical guitar, trios, and quartets. I compose for various ensembles and create numerous arrangements of film scores, video game soundtracks, and songs. One of my pieces was notably performed by the IMEP Grand Choir.

This dual experience as a guitarist and composer informs my teaching: I enjoy explaining what lies behind the notes, understanding the technical challenges, and illuminating choices in harmony, structure, and interpretation, with accessible guidelines for every level. My curiosity for film, literature, computer science, and Japanese culture also enriches the projects I develop with my students.
