About Me
Hi, my name is Alex and I'm a music production student currently studying in Leeds.
During my time in sixth form, I studied Music, Maths, and Physics at A-levels, where I achieved grades ABC, respectively. In A-level Music, we delved deeply into the classical compositions of Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven, the experimental music of the 20th century (including Schoenberg, Messiaen, and Boulez), and the influential Jazz of the 20th century (with icons like Miles Davis and Duke Ellington). This extensive study has provided me with a rich knowledge of musical history.
Beyond my academic studies, I have been actively involved in numerous extracurricular activities. I played and performed saxophone and guitar in the school Big Band, and I also had the fantastic experience of performing in the band for my school's musical, 'Cry-Baby'.
Currently, my passion lies in composing. I love to create cinematic, orchestral pieces in my free time, which greatly relies on my strong foundation in music theory. i often rescore movies with my owns scores for practice.
