Focusing on the development of own unique voice I will plan a specific program for each student in order to bring him to the next level.
After studying in my youth with bass guitar innovators Matthew Garrison, Dominique Di Piazza, Skuli Sverrisson, at Berklee College of Music and privately with Jazz theory and Improvisation guru Hal Crook and after almost 20 years of playing professionally all around the world with amazing people I ́ve accumulated tons of invaluable lessons ready to be shared with my students.

About Me
I consider my self a music student always aiming to improve my playing developing a personal musical language.I also consider the bass guitar mostly as a "tool with strings", there in order to express my self, so I´m always researching new ways to transcend it while never forgetting what is the role of the bass inside an ensemble.I believe the shapeshifting betweens this two things is the best way to develop a personal unique voice
Considered as one of the most interesting and innovative bass players of the new generation and ex pupil of bass gurus Matthew Garrison and Dominique Di Piazza, Roberto started soon to gain attention in Italy after winning for 2 years in a row the “Italian Bass Contest” in 2002 and 2003 and becoming a finalist of the “European Bass Contest” in 2004.
In the year 2005 he moved to Boston to attend the Berklee College of Music where he also joined the ensemble of pianist Joanne Brackeen and formed the Jazz-Fusion band Oddflow together with Hara Garacci and Louis Cato. Oddflow released the album “Almost Even” the following year and started performing all around the east coast.
In 2007 he moved to New York and lived there till 2010, playing in the local Jazz scene and touring as well, during this years he joined the band of avant-garde pop singer and “my space” celebrity Adama, meanwhile he also started a long term musical collaboration with veteran Fusion keyboardist and producer Steve Hunt (Allan Holdsworth, Stanley Clarke, Billy Cobham) which led to Roberto ́s first solo album “Re-Evaluation Time”, published in 2010 under Steve´s reord label “Spice Rack” and featuring Marty Richards and Pablo De Biasi on drums and Steve on keys.
Re-Evaluation Time gained worldwide recognition, being top seller on the Jazz-Fusion online shop “Abstract Logix” it also entered the “top five” in many jazz-oriented music radio charts. In 2010 Roberto moved back to Europe and started establishing himself as a bass player in Berlin, where he´s currently living.
In the following years Roberto started many musical collaboration like the “Silent Jazz Ensemble”, “Reiner Hess Raumshiff jazz”, “Aly Keyta trio” and leading his own trio with Bjössi Klütsch and Marko Djordjevic on drums.

In 2017 he published his second solo album “Lapse Of Worry” with Seamus Blake on sax, Marko Djordjevic on drums and Bjössi Klütsch on guitar.
In 2018 Roberto played on the Album “Nuova Napoli” by Nu Guinea, he also co-composed the hit song “Disco Sole”.
The album is at the moment a top seller, and with Nu Guinea Roberto toured all around Europe and even Brazil for all the course of 2019.
Roberto musical collaborations brought him to perform all around the world, often with one of his signature 5 or 6 strings basses by Wood& Tronics, as well as Wood&Tronics bass guitars, Roberto is also endorsing Gr Bass amplifiers and Mama Pickups.
