About Me
Alex Parke is a professional clarinetist, educator, and ethnomusicologist working between São Paulo and New York City.

His work focuses on clarinet, saxophone, flute, klezmer music, classical music, Brazilian music, Turkish and Greek musical traditions, improvisation, and other world music styles.

As a performer and educator, Alexander combines technical development, musical expression, listening, repertoire, and improvisation in a practical and personalized teaching approach based on the principles of performance, technique, and repertoire.

He teaches students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced musicians, with lessons available online worldwide in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
