Singing is an incredible talent that I want to give you the passion for. This class is designed to help you find that passion by learning helpful techniques, exploring your versatility, and tailoring the lesson to your style. You can take this class for fun, or you can take it to help prepare for an audition or performance. It does not matter what you take it for! I'm here to teach anyone who wants to sing. You can learn how to expand your vocal range, get rid of your performance anxiety, sing challenging pieces, and more! It is all based on your needs. I can also teach you musical language and how to read and understand music. I am great with teaching younger children. I'm a patient teacher, but I like to challenge students based on their skill/experience level without overwhelming them. This is a judgment free zone! I want to give you the best experience that I can. I will assign "homework" based on what you are learning. The main thing that I ask is that you practice vocal exercises and the songs in your repertoire. I will make sure to take my own notes throughout the lesson and send them to you to practice what you learned. My typical lesson plan includes: 1. A short check-in with the student (asking how they are) 2. Stretching warm-up 3. Breathing warm-up 4. Vocal warm-up 5. Work on the student's repertoire 6. Short wrap-up My schedule will change to primarily weekends starting in late August! Please keep this in mind.

I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam). I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools/muziekacademies). In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination. Music is my passion, I have been teaching violin for 5 years, in music schools as well as privately from the ages of 7 to 60. My aim in teaching is to enable the student to experience the beauty, richness and also the fun side of music, by helping to develop the technical skills needed to express oneself on the violin. I find it very important to take into account the personal goals and wishes of the student and to create an atmosphere of encouragement, creativity and mutual understanding. No matter if you are interested in learning to play your favourite tunes just for fun or want to build up strong, solid technique and play demanding repertoire, I would be happy to work with you.The world of music is incredibly rich and I would love to help you on the exciting journey of discovering it. I believe it important to have variety in the process of learning and to help the student to develop good practising habits. For those interested, I can also gladly include some music theory/music history knowledge in the lessons, to understand the pieces on a more profound level. Hello! Whether you don’t have a violin yet, are just starting out, or are already an advanced player, I warmly welcome you to my studio. During my seven years living in London, I taught around 30 students from kids to adult with warm care and dedication. I came to the Netherlands two years ago to focus on my early music studies, and have just finished my second master in the Royal Conservatoire The Hague with Distinction. 
I would like to share my love towards music through violin learning, and hope you will have enjoy our exploration together as much as I do! I grew up with the Suzuki books and find that they contain many wonderful gems. In principle, I would like to follow those textbooks.
