In my classes, I employ a range of efficient methods of instruction, but I mostly use the communicative approach and TTT/STT teaching models. In my classes, we practice all 4 skills, but speaking and listening get extra focus because that's what the students are most interested in.
I make a concerted effort to design courses that let students meet the interests that motivated them to start learning the language in the first place. I design my classes with an emphasis on the various communicative needs that everyday life implies because students seem particularly interested in being able to communicate in the situations that they would have to face in their daily routines, whether they need to interact with Spanish speakers in their social or professional settings, plan to live in a Spanish-speaking country, or want to take a vacation in a Spanish-American country. In my classes, I place a high value on integrating interactive and online resources to assist students in learning about and putting self-study techniques into practice.

My name's Nora. I'm from Medellin, Antioquia, Colombia. I have a degree in Modern Languages with extensive experience as a teacher in different technological institutes and universities. On travaille la spontanéité et la nuance : défendre une idée, réagir vite, parler de sujets plus complexes, comprendre les conversations naturelles et utiliser des expressions plus proches de ta façon de t’exprimer.

Comment se passe une séance ?

45 minutes en visio, en tête-à-tête. C’est toi qui parles le plus.
On part de ta vraie vie : ton travail, tes voyages, ta famille, ce que tu dois faire en espagnol cette semaine.
Tu relèves un défi à ta portée. Parfois, je te mets volontairement dans une situation un peu difficile, pour que tu apprennes à t’en sortir.
Tu t’entraînes à te débrouiller quand tu ne trouves pas un mot ou que tu ne comprends pas.
Après la séance, tu reçois un résumé avec tes progrès, jusqu’à 5 nouvelles expressions et un objectif pour la prochaine fois.

Ce n’est pas pour toi si tu es grand débutant, si tu prépares le DELE ou le SIELE, ou si tu cherches des cours bilingues ou en groupe. Je ne donne pas non plus de cours aux mineurs.
