About Me

Hi everyone!
I am Stien, 24 years old and a student in Ghent. I have been involved with language since childhood. My mother tongue is Dutch, I also speak fluent English and Spanish. I learned both languages thanks to an exchange project abroad. When I was 17, I left for the United States for half a year to learn English and when I returned home I was itching to learn Spanish as well. I started Spanish lessons in good spirits, but soon I thought it wasn't going fast enough and I left for Spain when I was 19. First to work as an au pair for a few months, then to study there. During the semester I studied there I taught English to Spanish speakers and I also took Spanish lessons given by English speakers. These experiences have greatly increased my sense of language, but also my motivation and desire to pass on these languages to others.
That is why I decided that I would like to start giving extra lessons in English, Spanish and Dutch. I have taught Spanish in Salamanca to both children and adults, so I certainly have enough experience to get started with you and see together what the concrete goal is, how we are going to approach it and I offer efficient lessons that you will receive with great leaps forward will help.
Possible for both students and others interested, children whose native language is not Dutch or primary school children whose English or Spanish language you want to teach yourself or your child for whatever reason.
