About me

I am a native Russian Teacher. I have been certified by the Teachers' Development Programme at Oxford University. I was born in Moscow and have been living in Rio de Janeiro for over 10 years. I have graduated with an MA in the UK and lived and worked in London for 6 years. I teach Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced levels, conversational practice, and help to prepare for the TORFL exam.

I have extensive experience in tutoring groups and individuals as well as curriculum development in London and Brazilian language schools. My teaching style is motivating and easy-going. I focus on results via assessment and being exposed to real language. I have acquired broad experience of work with absolute beginners as well as advanced learners, Business Russian, and TORFL.

Teaching Approach

Conversation and grammar are both the key to mastering Russian language. They, therefore, go hand in hand in my classes. We will use grammar as a necessary building block and then add key vocabulary to build the core which we can expand while practicing conversation and learn from real language samples.
