About Me

I was born and raised in Japan and hold a Japanese Language Instructor Certificate issued in Japan, as well as a B.A. in Communication Arts from the national education university, Tokyo Gakugei University.

I have over 10 years of experience teaching Japanese both online and in classroom settings. My specialties include teaching survival Japanese for people preparing to work in Japan, as well as teaching Japanese to learners ranging from young children to college students. My students have ranged in age from 6 to 75 years old.

My teaching philosophy is to make difficult things easy to understand. I am passionate about helping people learn Japanese, whether they are studying for fun, travel, work, or long-term personal goals!!
