This group lesson is designed for beginners to lower-intermediate learners who can read hiragana.

Textbook used in class is Minna no nihongo /BiginnerI

Since it was first published in 1998, "Minna no Nihongo" has been a long-selling and classic textbook for both teachers and learners of Japanese alike. Now the series has been reborn in this second edition, with the vocabulary and conversational settings being revised (words that have gone out of usage have been replaced with new expressions frequently in use, and conversational settings have also been updated) and exercises included with the book. Illustrations for use in reviewing have also been increased. While this book is not meant as a study aid for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, upon completing the book, the student is roughly at the N5 level of the test.

Lesson times are fixed each week. I will check your Japanese level and provide you with a class that is appropriate for your level. The target Japanese language levels are N5, N4, and N3.

I have worked Japanese companies, a kindergarten teacher, cram school and a Japanese language school in Tokyo.
Especially, I worked at a cram school for 12 years, teaching Japanese children between the ages of 2 and 12 a subject called "Kokugo." It is our national language.

I am a Japanese living in Japan. I love teaching the Japanese language. I am serious about teaching and would like to meet new learners.

I am experienced in teaching conversational Japanese, general Japanese, reading Japanese newspaper and JLPT exam preparation. I have a good understanding of second language acquisition, teaching methodologies.

My hobbies are Japanese cooking it is called ''Washoku'', traveling, going to hot springs and walking with my two cute little doggies. I am an eager teacher and will do my best for learners.

My goal is to make people confident and happy to speak. Everyone is different and prefers different types of lessons, I have no problem using classroom books or just working to improve. I have taught a number of countries students so I am aware of the difficulties that can arise. Language should be interesting and fun to use. I want to make the class enjoyable.
