Italian Speaking Practice, Grammar, Reading and Vocabulary
From 33 C$ /h
I am a native Italian speaker and I've been living in the UK for the past 4 years. I am a Modern Languages and Cultures bachelor student who is looking to teach Italian to those who want to learn this beautiful language.
I usually dedicate the first lesson to understand the level at which the student is, so that I can build a specific plan for the forthcoming lessons, focusing on what the student wants to practice or learn, and identifying what areas we should concentrate most on. Every week I assign homework :)
My goal is to increase the students' confidence as well as their fluency in speaking the language. In fact, in my lessons I like to create a friendly and chill environment where students can ask me anything and can see me as their equal. My class will be very dynamic and with loads of conversations as I really want to get the most out of you in terms of proficiency.
Can't wait to meet you!

About Me
• I am genuinely passionate in humanistic subjects and an expert in the linguistic domain. I am a fluent Italian speaker and I am currently studying French, German and Spanish as part of my degree at the University of Sheffield.
• I moved to England when I was 14 years old. English being my second language and having had to adapt to a new educational system were a real challenge for me when I first came to the United Kingdom. I had to overcome several difficulties, work hard and make sacrifices. I am proud of what I have accomplished during these years and how I have acquired more self-confidence, perception, resilience and inner strength. This makes me very empathic towards my languages students.
• I'm a super extrovert person who loves meeting new people and discovering new things. I have a very positive out look and I always love what I do.
• As an educator, it brings me great joy to see my students improving and learning things. I love being a role model for them as I feel I’m making a difference. I always keep a smile on my face, hoping that my lesson could light up their day.
• I love traveling, immersing myself in new cultures, making new experiences and meeting new people!
• regular exercise to maintain a healthy lifestyle, thus respecting my belief of having a “mens sana in corpore sano”.
• I enjoy music, especially songs from the 60s as I like the imperfection of past records.
• I love reading (and playing video games) as they offer alternative challenges but most importantly I appreciate the fact that I can totally immerse myself in a different world which somehow relates to studying languages, breaking barriers between countries and allowing me to explore different environments.
