Hi, I’m Evi, a native Hungarian speaker from Hungary.

I specialise in preparing students for the Hungarian simplified naturalisation and citizenship interview. I also teach general Hungarian for everyday life, travel, or speaking with your partner’s family.

I’m TEFL-certified, and I have a BSc in Sports Science and two MSc degrees from UK universities in Epidemiology and Musculoskeletal Sciences.

For citizenship preparation, we can work on:

• Common questions and personalised answers
• Your family, ancestry, application and everyday topics
• Follow-up questions and listening comprehension
• Pronunciation, speaking confidence and mock interviews

My lessons are also suitable for complete beginners and learners who want to:

• Speak more confidently and naturally
• Practise conversation alongside independent study
• Communicate with Hungarian relatives or a partner’s family
• Understand and use grammar more effectively

Lessons are adapted to your level and goals. Beginners can build essential vocabulary and grammar step by step, while other learners can focus on their weaker areas.

Most lessons include guided conversation, corrections, new vocabulary and clear grammar explanations. Structured grammar lessons are also available.

A little bit about me: I have lived in the UK and Singapore and travelled to more than 90 countries. I enjoy travelling, gym training, hiking and volleyball.

About Me

I’m Évi, a native Hungarian tutor from Hungary. I’m TEFL-certified and hold two master’s degrees from UK universities. Having lived abroad for many years, I understand the challenges of learning and communicating in another language.

I hold a 120-hour Advanced TEFL Certificate and have experience teaching Hungarian to adults at different levels, including conversation, grammar and citizenship interview preparation.

My previous professional background includes epidemiological and public health research, health and fitness. This has strengthened my ability to communicate clearly, work systematically and adapt information to each person’s needs.
