About Me

Hi everyone,
My name's Freya and I've just completed my first year studying French and German at Cambridge University.
During my time at sixth form I tutored 4 students and taught weekly GCSE French classes and therefore have prior experience in tutoring.
I received A*A*A* in my A levels and would be very keen to tutor anyone who would like to improve their French or German language skills.

I have received 11 GCSEs grades 9-7, an A at AS biology and the top grades in my A level subjects (French, German and Geography). I've gone on to pursue an MML (French and German) degree at the university of Cambridge.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next.

The typical course of a session:
