About Me

I love travelling and discovering new places. I first fell in love with languages on my first trip to France and I couldn’t fully enjoy the experience as I didn’t know the language.

I love working with children. The younger you are, the easier it is to learn a new skill, including a new language. But adults are also more than welcome of course.
The best way to learn a language is being totally surrounded by it, and having as many conversations as possible. That’s my best method.
The best students are those committed to learning and making progress. It can be daunting to speak up in a new language and most people are very shy, but making mistakes is part of the learning experience.

Education

Primary school was in English.
Always spoke Portuguese at home but English became my second native language.

Secondary was in French.
I travelled quite often with my parents so changed schools 3 times in 3 different countries.

University was in Portuguese.
4 years of marketing university and on my last year I decided it wasn’t for me so I quit and started travelling again.
