Something I have very in my mind is that I was born to learn, and I feel like learning is something beautiful. Through my learning path I have learned how to teach (and still learning everyday) and I enjoy sharing my passion with others.

One of the most important factors in building a good class environment for language teaching is for students to actively participate in communication and comprehension. Students should feel free to share their opinion in the target language in a safe class environment. How can we make this a reality? Being understanding and patient with the students is one of the keys. Facilitating creative ways of practicing the target language and instilling motivation is also a critical factor.

As I discussed above, I believe that a key element in the foreign language classroom is keeping students motivated. My personal style of teaching brings enthusiasm, cultural elements, and games to the classroom so that students are more engaged with class. I always try to interact and be friendly with my students as I guide them through their learning process the best I can.

As a native speaker who teaches her own native language, I believe that one of the deepest levels on which I can connect to my students is through culture. I try to show them a new culture and make them consider new worlds. I also can share my personal experience as a learner of a second language with them and make them feel comfortable in a class environment where no one judges anyone. I always tell them that making mistakes is human and that having an accent is a sign of bravery.

I believe this personal element in my teaching is an essential factor that helps students engage in communicative activities, and assist in fostering motivation.
