Languages in general and learning and teaching them are some of my biggest passions in life, and I have enjoyed teaching - specially languages - more than most things in life. I always take teaching as a great human experience as well as a learning experience of my own.

Regarding my English courses: Depending on the level and the needs of the student, I can offer an interactive course whether it is speaking skills that you look for (so, in that case, conversation-based sessions) or a more general course or even only a grammar-focused course suited for school or only for reading knowledge. It is indeed easier if the student already knows some basic English passively in order to understand me during the classes (unless you are Persian-speaking which would make it much easier to communicate, if your level is below intermediate). However, it is perfectly fine if your speaking is still at the beginner level.

Method: Once again, my method is quite flexible depending on the needs and requests of the student. But in general, these are some of the books I usually use for my classes: Grammar in use; Tactics for listening; Storybooks (Oxford and Cambridge press); Complete IELTS (if requested); etc. Other potential sources include news, TV shows, encyclopaedias and so forth, suited for the student's interests.

Hello! I am Reza, a philosophy student who lives in Leuven (Belgium) and Paris. I have always loved languages and learning more about languages and teaching them. I have had some experience in teaching English and Persian in the past which were some of the best times I had in my life. Nothing quite like teaching, especially teaching languages, makes me feel good because it is always a great opportunity to connect with people and always, in my experience, to learn something as well.

The only requirement would be intermediate English (not necessarily fluency in speech, but only so much to understand me). It does not matter whether you are just beginning or if you want to practice your spoken Persian or if you already speak it but want someone to dig a little bit in Persian poetry with them. Persian linguistics and teaching Persian has been a long-lasting passion of mine. However, I do not offer any courses on "literature" or "Persian linguistics", but only "language" courses in which there can be incorporated more or less literary and/or linguistic elements depending on what you are looking for.

My methodology: Learning to structure one's thoughts to express oneself better
My approach is based on a simple observation: success is not achieved through lack of effort, but often through a lack of method and confidence. My role is to transform subjects sometimes perceived as abstract (Philosophy, French) or intimidating (English) into concrete tools for success.

The typical course of a session:
1. Quick diagnosis: We start by identifying the areas of uncertainty from the previous lesson or the difficulties with a specific exercise.
2. Taking action: No boring lectures! We work on concrete exercises, essay plans or oral practice (in English) to "learn by doing".
