English for Different Situations - All Levels Welcome!
From 48 C$ /h
Dear friends,
I am Ashley, and I am currently living in the UK. But if we go back just four years, I was also one of the students who struggled with studying English. I can still vividly remember all those days of struggling with vocabulary, reading and writing, and those days when I could only talk to myself in English as a way to practise speaking because there was no one else I could practise with.
Therefore, I have also walked the same path before. As a non-native speaker myself, I can totally relate to and understand the difficulties that English learners generally face. Ever since I received my first 7.0 in IELTS three years ago, I started helping my classmates with their English studies back in high school, as well as assisting at a language institute. Now, I have been working with learners from different countries, occupations, age groups, and linguistic backgrounds.
In terms of my teaching methodology, I do not set a fixed and rigid syllabus for everyone. Instead, I see every learner as an independent individual with different needs. Hence, the classes are fully individually oriented and adjusted according to each person's progress and circumstances. Whether it is for exam preparation, work, life, or a hobby, the class structure would never simply be about the transmission of grammar and vocabulary. Instead, we learn through entertaining activities, casual practice, and every relaxing conversation. I do not offer a pre-designed, unified approach to everyone. Rather, the study plan is developed through real interaction with the learner, focusing on areas such as speaking and grammar improvement, pronunciation training, and so on.
It is not just about a teacher teaching a student, but more like two friends sharing ideas, learning from each other, and improving together. With full passion and patience, I wish to help learners, in my own way, study English in a chill, relaxing, and cheerful environment through casual conversations and daily practice. I want to help you step outside the rigid framework and syllabus and discover that, actually, this language is far easier than you thought.
I wish we could explore more about this beautiful, but at the same time sometimes slightly annoying, language together, through laughter and joy.
I am here, waiting for you!!!
All the best,
Ashley

Ever since I received my first 7 in IELTS 3 years ago, I started to help my classmates back in high school in English studying, as well as assisting in a language institute. I have always aspired to help people from all over the world who want to learn English, as I am also once and a still on the same journey on keep diving further in this language. My teaching methodology is flexible and individual-oriented, fully according to the needs of different students, from daily to academic; the class structure would never just be the mere transmission of grammar and vocabs, but learn from entertaining activities, casual practices, from every relaxing conversation. Is not as a teacher teaching the students, but as friends sharing ideas and learn from each other, and improve together.

Language is not only about academic knowledge and theories. It is a skill that could be learnt and practiced at anytime, anywhere. I always believe the effective way for language learning is to have as much conversations as possible, and I always love to chat with people from different cultures in different languages. I wish to construct the connection with students not as teacher and learner, but friends who have chill chats as a way to understand each other better, and I can also in this way understand in which way I could help you more.
