Whether you know a little English or none at all, in my 'Beginner English Speaking Course' I will teach you in an understanding and supportive way how to begin speaking English. I am a patient and kind tutor and I will teach you at the pace that is best for you. It is understandable to feel nervous about learning English but these classes will help and guide you to feel excited and confident!

You will begin with learning the basics - English greetings and how to introduce yourself. In every lesson you will add more English words and phrases to what you know until you feel confident to have a simple conversation in English! The material for each English lesson will include translation into your native language for new words and phrases to help you to understand what the English means. Each lesson will be recorded with your consent and these recordings can be made available to you after the lesson for you to practice everything you have learnt.

Please have a notepad and pen so that you can make notes to help you remember what we learn in the lessons. I encourage you to watch any lesson recordings and look at the practice slides after the lesson - this is very important for learning and remembering English effectively.

My name is Miriam and I am an English tutor from the UK. I have a clear British accent and I have been tutoring English as a second language online for over two years. I was home educated in the UK.

After my secondary education I immediately started working in the optical industry which involved both teaching training staff and customers.

I later came back to further education when I studied a distance learning course in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology of the Human Body and attended a School of Complementary Therapies where I studied Massage Therapy.
