Are you studying Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture and feeling stuck with your project, concept or portfolio? Sometimes you don’t need someone to give you the answer — you need another designer to look at your work, ask the right questions and help you discover where it could go next.

I am a practising Interior Designer with a RIBA Part 2 architectural background and previous university-level teaching experience. My tutorials combine academic design thinking with experience gained from working within leading UK architecture and interior design practices.

My sessions are tailored around you and your project. We can work together on concept development, spatial planning, design thinking, portfolio layouts, graphic communication, technical drawings, materials and finishes, sustainability, Revit, AutoCAD, InDesign and Photoshop.

I am particularly passionate about creative thinking, graphics and portfolio storytelling. I love helping students take complicated ideas and communicate them through clear, beautiful drawings, diagrams and layouts.

I am also very interested in sustainability, materiality and the relationship between buildings and people. I encourage students to think beyond how a space looks and consider why materials are selected, how they perform, how people experience the space and how design decisions affect the environment.

You can bring a project at any stage, from an early idea or university brief to a nearly completed portfolio. We can review it together, identify what is working, explore what could be improved and develop a clear direction for your next steps.

I won’t design your project for you. My aim is to help you become a stronger and more confident designer by developing your own ideas, challenging your thinking and helping you understand the reasoning behind your design decisions.

Sessions can also focus specifically on portfolio reviews, university applications, design crit preparation, Revit/AutoCAD guidance or graphic presentation.
Extra information
Please send me your project brief and any current drawings, sketches or portfolio pages before the lesson where possible. This allows me to understand your project beforehand so we can make the most of our tutorial time. All levels and stages of projects are welcome.

About Me
I am a practising Interior Designer and RIBA Part 2 architectural graduate based in London, with previous experience teaching Interior Design at university level in Malaysia.

I am naturally creative, curious and very passionate about design. I love thinking outside the box and looking at a design problem from different perspectives. As a tutor, I am friendly, patient and collaborative. I don’t believe in simply telling a student what the “right answer” is. Instead, I like asking questions, discussing ideas and helping students discover a direction that feels genuinely their own.

One of my biggest passions is graphics, portfolio design and visual storytelling. I really enjoy helping students turn their ideas, research and drawings into clear and beautiful presentations that communicate the story behind their design.

I am also particularly interested in materials, sustainability and how people experience buildings and interior spaces. I encourage students to consider not only how something looks, but why they are designing it, who they are designing for, how materials perform and how their decisions affect people and the environment.

Having studied in the UK, taught at university in Malaysia and worked professionally within leading UK architecture and interior design practices, I can bring both academic and real-world perspectives to my tutorials.

I particularly enjoy working with Interior Design, Interior Architecture and Architecture students who want to develop their ideas, improve their portfolios, prepare for crits or simply need a fresh pair of eyes when they feel stuck.

Most importantly, I want my tutorials to be a comfortable space where you can discuss ideas openly, experiment, ask questions and become more confident in your own identity as a designer.
