My name is Abdi and i have been teaching interior architecture and general design lessons for several of years. I have graduated from University of Westminster (Interior Architecture - 1st Class Honours) in 2013. I am comfortable teaching College and University students as well as adults looking to enter the interior design profession. I understand as creative individuals, we all process information differently, therefore my teaching methods will be tailored to your requirements. The lessons time slots will also be scheduled around your availability.

Regardless of your experience, I believe that I can teach you Vectorworks in order to accomplish what you need. My typical lesson are usually between 2-3 hours. I have been teaching this software since 1212. I still us this software during my design projects. I teach college students to adults that are looking to step into the interior design and Architecture industry.

About Me

One of the main qualities of a good tutor is patience and sympathy. It’s vital to understand that we all consume information differently. I understand as creative individuals, we all process information differently, therefore my teaching methods will be tailored to your requirements.

My interest in tutoring has began during my final year of university as ended of helping few of my class mates when I have finished my project early. What makes me a great tutor is that I have developed a wonderful teaching system which accommodated all students from different levels. My ability of tailoring a unique teaching style for each student and seeing the results is what makes me very proud indeed. One of the main challenges I face in my subject is teaching a student which has no previous experience or knowledge of creativity. Turning an academic student to a creative prodigy is challenge I am constantly overcoming slowly.

Most valuable point that I can state for all students studying design is that there is no short cut!! All final designs have to show where it all began. These are vital steps which will apply to all design briefs:

My passed teaching experiences come from developing design portfolios with university students and teaching interns how to deliver projects from initial concept discussion to final outcome. Design software programmes that i make us of on daily basis are Vectorworks, Photoshop and Indesign.
