About Me

I have 25 years of experience as an Elementary Classroom Teacher, several years as an ESL Teacher and an ESL Consultant for the Ottawa Catholic School Board in Ontario, Canada. I am passionate about teaching English Learners and the reward that comes with seeing their incredible growth in language acquisition. I believe in building positive relationships with the students I work with so they feel comfortable learning their new language. I also want them to leave each lesson feeling more confident about themselves, motivated and excited to join me for the next lesson.
