Singing is your passion and you wanna build up your skill? You feel at home with genres within pop and/or rock music? Then I'm your teacher!

My classes will be designed to fit in with your current level, your preferences in terms of style and/or skill as well as your goals. Each class starts with a short warm up consisting of breathing exercises, a check of your body posture and singing exercises. Then we'll work on the songs you wanna sing. The technique I'm gonna teach you is based on speech level singing.

About me: I'm about to finish my music studies with a bachelor diploma in singing at Jam Music Lab Privat University for Jazz and Popular Music Vienna and I've been singing for over 10 years now. Last time I was live on stage was with the 80's tribute "Shake Me" at Simm City Wien and local Wien in 2020. Right now I'm arranging my own songs from my dark wave and dark rock influenced band project "Vampy Pop" to make them ready for recording in the studio.

About Me
Music has been with me since I can remember. As a child it was mainly classical music, as a teenager it was musical, punk rock and visual kei from Japan. Today I find a variety of genres from all over the world exciting. At the moment it's mostly No Wave, Dark Wave and Dark Rock, but also C-Pop from China.
Since my music studies, I have also been interested in popular music research, especially in the field of metal music studies.

It is important to me that my students find their own authentic way of expressing themselves in their singing. When we sing we always tell a story. A well-fitting technique is a kind of tool case that contains a wide range of expressive options.

I can tell you that in my lessons you can expect a friendly and warm atmosphere, attention to detail, and an individualized approach. Some come to me to "try out" their voice and to understand and feel it. Others want to work through inner blockages or tension in their body and express this through their voice. And still others simply enjoy the lessons.

I am always open to your ideas and wishes regarding singing. My teaching method is based on my own experience – some things I have adopted from my wonderful teachers, some I have developed myself in the course of my work, and some things arise spontaneously in the moment.

If what I'm saying resonates with you, I warmly invite you to my lessons. Your prior knowledge or experience is irrelevant – together we will discover your voice and bring out new facets of its potential.

My name is Anita, and I am a neurodivergent interdisciplinary artist.

I combine traditional and unconventional teaching methods with an innovative approach, adapted to the fast-paced era we live in, where attention spans can be short. My teaching integrates principles of psychology to better understand each student’s unique needs and aspirations.

My goal is to nurture visionary children who have strong foundational values and a humble sense of self. I believe that true artistic mastery comes from human excellence. Also, in this way, students develop true self-confidence by evaluating their success based on personal progress rather than comparing themselves to others.

This course is especially recommended for neurodivergent children (with Autism Level 1 - Asperger's Syndrome, ADHD, OCD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Hypersensitivity, and Anxiety) with multiple interests who struggle to choose, focus on, and manage various subjects. It helps develop both technique and discipline, enabling them to navigate multiple creative fields—essentially putting their eggs in several baskets while honing the skills necessary for diverse career opportunities in an uncertain job market.

The program encourages a generalist mindset, promoting versatility without compromising creative integrity. Students will learn to refine their Zoom In/Zoom Out perspective, gaining the ability to see both the bigger picture and the finer details of any subject. The program's structure guides the individuals through three essential phases:

Exploration Phase–Presentations, visual games, and foundational lessons introduce students to various disciplines, helping them discover their interests.
Development Phase–They start defining their creative goals, practicing their skills, and trying out various artistic approaches.
Mastery Phase - With a clear direction, students focus on long-term goals, whether as brand-focused professionals, university students, or future educators.

Disciplines covered include architecture, painting, illustration, concept design (especially for gaming), traditional animation, digital art, children's book illustration, film, creative writing, and music (the art of songwriting).

A Purposeful, Transparent Approach

I work closely with each student, providing honest yet supportive evaluations to help identify their strengths. My goal is to guide serious and passionate learners and not to mislead families into unnecessary expenses. I strive to be straightforward in a respectful and encouraging manner, communicating if a child may not be suited for this path.

A Valuable Investment in Thinking & Creativity

Even if a student ultimately chooses a non-artistic career, this course fosters critical and creative thinking, which are essential skills for any field. The knowledge gained here is never wasted; it’s an investment in adaptability, innovation, and problem-solving abilities that transcend the arts.

Drawing from my experiences with nutritional challenges during adolescence, I know how important it is to support overall well-being. This small gesture is part of my commitment to care for the whole individual—mind, body, and spirit—ensuring no one is left hungry while pursuing their creative and academic goals.

I am a singer, vocal coach, and music therapist, and I have been teaching singing for 24 years. I studied classical singing, musical theatre singing, and music pedagogy at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts, graduating 26 years ago. As a classical singer, I have performed at venues including the Vienna Musikverein (Great Hall and Glass Hall), in the New York opera production of The Magic Flute, and at Stuppach Castle, among others. As a pop singer, I released my own album 10 years ago (ELIEM), and our songs have received radio airplay. I can also teach you how to compose your own pop songs, how to sing well into a microphone, and how to accompany yourself on the piano. I have been teaching classical, musical theatre, and pop singing for 24 years at various music schools and with the Vienna Boys' Choir. Having also studied Indian music therapy in India, I place great emphasis on the therapeutic aspect of singing. I also teach Indian music therapy. You can find more information about this on my website. Among other things, you can learn the following from me: healthy breathing techniques, expanding your vocal range, singing with a microphone, and various singing techniques: classical, baroque, musical theatre, and pop. I studied therapeutic singing and Indian music therapy in India 21 years ago and also teach these subjects. Therapeutic singing can help release anxiety, insecurity, grief, and inner restlessness. Indian music therapy is particularly helpful for nervousness, ADHD, burnout, and chronic fatigue.

Are you looking to develop your classical singing technique, expand your repertoire or prepare for an audition, competition or performance?

I am a professional soprano with Master’s degrees in Opera and international training in Spain, Italy and Austria. I offer individual classical singing lessons tailored to each student’s voice, level and goals.

In our lessons, we work on healthy and efficient vocal technique, breathing, resonance, vocal freedom, intonation, musicality and interpretation. We then apply the technical work to your own repertoire, whether you are working on opera arias, art songs or other classical repertoire.

For advanced singers and students preparing for auditions, entrance exams or competitions, we can work specifically on repertoire selection, musical and vocal preparation, interpretation, diction and performance skills.

My approach is personal and practical: every voice is different, so I adapt the exercises and repertoire to the individual student. My aim is not only to develop a strong and healthy technique, but also to help you find more freedom, confidence and expression in your singing.

Lessons are suitable for beginners who want to discover classical singing as well as advanced singers, conservatory or university students and singers preparing for auditions, exams, competitions or performances.

As we work on pieces, I also focus on the musical aspects of singing such as intonation and phrasing, as well as the artistic dimension: expression, interpretation, language, and stylistic awareness.
Lessons take place in a comfortable, supportive atmosphere where curiosity and enjoyment are encouraged.
The goal is to help you get to know your own instrument more deeply, develop confidence, and ultimately find the greatest pleasure and freedom in singing.

My expertise as an trained French-Austrian opera singer, is in the opera repertoire going from baroque to modern, as well as german Lied, French songs, and classical musicals.

I am French, bord in London and my father is Austrian, so I'm comfortable teaching in all 3 languages.
I work with beginners as well as more advanced students.

Don't hesitate to write me if you're interested in taking lessons!
