Essay writing skills for secondary school to university level students
From 38.45 C$ /h
I believe that essay writing is a skill which anybody can learn to improve at, and these improvements come from learning how to structure an essay, think critically about the topic and title, and even down to the basic level of how to structure sentences.
I will tailor tuition to each student, looking at examples of their work, and taking into account their level and what they want to achieve, to assess what needs to be worked on which we can then discuss in class.
This class would be ideal for those who are in secondary school to sixth-form or at university working towards completing a qualification in an essay-based subject.

This class is for all those who want to learn Latin, from complete beginners to intermediate level. My goal is to tailor each class to each student's needs, whether that is to prepare for GCSE or A-level exams or to help someone learn purely out of interest.
In a first class we can assess which areas you need to work on, whether that may be grammar, vocabulary or something else. Generally, I see languages as a pattern which is laid out by grammar and then filled in by vocabulary, something which we can go over and then put into practice in classes by doing translations.
We can also read Latin texts, possibly set texts for an exam if you are preparing for one, and discuss textual commentary and context.
Above all I also aim to encourage a love of Latin language and literature in all those keen to learn.
