This class is for those who want to learn the very basics of art skill in order to begin a creative journey. In this course, I will strive to teach you the fundamental skills that any artist needs to create beautiful art.
This class focuses on accuracy and draftsmanship - being able to replicate images with confidence and clarity.
In this class, we will focus on shape, line and form, and how to translate 3D images into a 2D space.
You don’t need to have any prior knowledge of art - this class is designed to help complete beginners learn to draw. However, this class is tailored towards late teens or adults.

You will need plain paper, a pencil of any weight (HB works just fine) and an eraser.

Hiya! I am a student who had her a levels cancelled thanks to coronavirus. However, due to all this free time, I am now able to transfer all my knowledge to you!
Before the virus hit, I was studying Classical Civilisation, English Literature and Art and Design, in which I was predicted A*s across the board. I currently have a place at Hertfordshire University for animation and games art.

Experience / Qualifications
I have experience teaching art to students from the ages of 11 - 20, and would be open to teaching anyone of a higher age who doesn’t mind being taught by an 18 year old (art is universal after all!) I also have experience lecturing and teaching in English Literature.

This class is designed for students taking English Language at GCSE or A-Level, or any other exam equivalent. In this class, I will aim to teach you the fundamental skills needed to express yourself clearly in essays, in order to convey ideas with confidence and clarity.
Examples of texts I specialise in include Mrs Dalloway by Virginia Woolf, Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë, A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams, and many forms of poetry, including romantic (ie Keats, Shelley etc) and Contemporary.
Please note that if a student is not currently studying any of these, it will not detract from their ability to learn from these classes.

This class is designed for people taking Classical Civilisation for either A-Level or GCSE. In this class, I will aim to teach you the fundamental essay skills needed to express complex ideas with clarity, and how to back up points with a balance of evidence and evaluation.
This course is highly tailored towards the individual needs of the student, as well as their course content. Please be aware that I may not have learned the same content that the student is learning - however, the base skills of the subject remain the same across all areas.
My specialist areas include The Odyssey, The Aeneid, Sparta, Athens and Augustus’ Rome.
