Support in research-creation methodology Master level, pre-doctoral studies . . .
From 89.98 C$ /h
Are you an art student tasked with writing a research-creation thesis and unsure where to begin? Are you struggling to develop your plan? Are you encountering obstacles in structuring and developing your ideas? Are you finding it difficult to connect your practical issues (artistic approach) with theoretical concepts? Finally, are you facing methodological challenges?
By using the Constellation Model that I had designed for research-creation, I bring you to explain your intentions and your motivations to the point of exceeding them. By becoming aware of your spontaneous mental and semantic associations, you will gradually be able to build a personal methodology which starts from your artistic practice and which corresponds to both your sensitivity and your cognitive imprint.
I also support you in nurturing a sensitive relationship to your own work, but all the same methodical and critical
The support includes:
- Exercises in mental/semantic associations (how to produce creative and meaningful syntheses?).
- Explanation exercises of your identified conscious intentions and motivations. (mindfulness and theoretical contributions)
- Help in articulating concepts while starting from your artistic approach.
- An introduction to aesthetic and technical retrospective analysis techniques.
- Writing assistance
- and on request, an introduction to textual analysis techniques.
This course is aimed at any artist or student engaged in research-creation and in the preparation of a Master's thesis, in pre-doctoral preparation or in doctoral studies.
Being trilingual Arabic / French / English, the language spoken during the accompaniment will be the one you choose.
Areas of expertise:
|visual arts
| arts and new media, digital arts
| practice & theory of contemporary art
| aesthetics & art history
|research-creation methodology

Extra information
Graduated from the Higher Institute of Fine Arts of Tunis (engraving specialty) and having pursued a course in Aesthetics (research master) and digital art (doctorate), and qualified as a lecturer, I have a background which allowed me to build a plural artistic identity and a versatile profile which qualifies me to have artistic, theoretical and practical education.
As part of my collaboration with the European educational and artistic project @postasis Virtual Artistic Laboratory, as a research engineer, at the University of Paris 8 in collaboration with the School of Fine Arts of Athens (Art, virtual reality and multi user system of artistic expression), inspired by the work of Paul Valéry on poietics as well as by semiotic and constructivist theories, I set up a model "The Constellation model" for the development of a personal methodology of research-creation.
I will thus use the Constellation Model during my sessions with you!

I will use, then, this model during the methodology sessions.
