Ever wonder what’s going on behind the scenes of you? This class uses the tools of acting — voice, movement, presence, and play — to help you explore who you are, how you show up, and how you connect with others.

Designed for amateurs and the curious-at-heart, this isn’t about performing for an audience — it’s about discovering new sides of yourself in a safe, creative space.

Through guided improvisations, character work, and reflection, you’ll build self-awareness, confidence, and communication skills that show up in real life — from relationships to leadership to simply feeling more grounded in who you are.

No experience needed. Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to explore.
Extra information
Wear comfortable clothes you can move in — no special gear or experience needed. Just bring a curious mindset, and the willingness to explore, reflect, and maybe laugh a little along the way. This is a safe, supportive space — perfect for anyone stepping into this for the first time.

About Me
Ishan is an Amsterdam-based actor and acting trainer with a background in screen and stage performance across Europe. Trained at Mulholland Academy, Ishan holds a diploma in acting and has taken on diverse leading roles in short films, theatre productions, and experimental formats, including real-time acting with AI-generated scripts. His work spans both emotionally grounded characters and physically demanding roles — such as his portrayal of a character with cerebral palsy in a scene inspired by My Left Foot.

In addition to acting, Ishan brings experience as a host for panels and podcasts, offering a confident on-camera presence and strong communication skills. His training style focuses on presence, emotional truth, and unlocking each actor’s personal expression, whether for film, theatre, or improvisational work. With a sharp eye for detail and a deep respect for each performer’s process, Ishan creates a collaborative, honest, and motivating space to grow in the craft.

Vivianne
Hi! My name is Vivianne. I have been living in Amsterdam for two years now and I do love this city! I'm originally Dutch and I have lived in several countries (different places in The Netherlands, Hong Kong, Peru). That feeling of entering a new city is amazing; all those new people, places and beautiful spots but it can also make you a bit insecure about your decisions. Did you choose the right studies or job? You moved for love but what's next? What about new friends? You're not alone, many people around you experience the same. Next to my own experiences, I work as Dutch teacher (Dutch as a second language) and therefore know how 'newcomers' experience their new life. I want to help people feeling happier and content with their decisions. I have a background in (international) marketing, languages and intercultural communication and due to this combination I have a depth intercultural understanding.

So, if you want to talk about...

- Your life in The Netherlands (e.g. studies, job)
- Your decisions (e.g. feelings, emotions regarding any subject)
- Your future plans (e.g. staying in The Netherlands, moving)

And want to feel...

- More confident in your studies / job
- Happier in your personal and social life
- More integrated in the Dutch culture

Without feeling a patient in need of an expensive psychologist/psychiatrist, feel free to contact me. We can have a short intake so you can tell me something about yourself and make a plan for further meetings.

If you're interested in Dutch lessons as well we could, of course, customize the sessions.
