About Me

I am a professional Spanish cellist and baroque cellist. I graduated with honors from the Real Conservatorio de Música in Madrid, Spain, with Bachelor’s of Music, specifically classical and baroque cello (two BD).
My career as a musician is very extensive, not only in the field of performance, but also in the field of teaching. I started giving private lessons ten years ago. It gave me the skills to develop self-confidence to improve day by day in my classes and understand the needs of the students.
My career as a Spanish teacher is extensive too since Spanish is my mother tongue and I am competent enough to teach you the best Spanish: make you improve your grammatical skills and get a better accent will be my priority.

2020: M.A. in Cultural Management: Music, Theater and Dance. Complutense University of Madrid.
2019: B.M. in Baroque Cello. Royal Conservatory of Music, Madrid, Spain.
2013: B.M in Classical Cello. Superior Conservatory of Music of Castilla y León.
2009: Professional Diploma in Cello.

Experience / Qualifications

I have given lessons in music schools, schools and private classes since 2007, and have attended teaching workshops.
The main subjects I have taught, both to kids and adults, are solfeggio, collective and individual classes of cello and piano, chamber music, music history, auditory and music education, music and movement, music theory, composition and harmony, and music appreciation. I really enjoy sharing my experience and knowledge with my students and learning from them with the aim of keeping music alive like our predecessors did. The projects I have developed illustrate my ability to analyze the needs and interests of students and prove my effectiveness in planning and carrying out new activities successfully.

Private Piano Lessons for Intermediate and Advanced Levels for All Ages but Beginners Ages 9 and above. Lessons include theory, ear-training, sight-reading, history, technique, performance, interpretation, and musicality. Concentration and focus vary depending upon individual student's skills and needs. To excel students' performing experiences with skill and knowledge, I work with students for ABRSM exams, National Federation Junior Festival, and Music Teacher assessment events, besides the routine lesson plans. Student recitals are given twice a year.
