Hi there, I'm a professional violin and viola teacher, teaching in person and online, in English, German or Russian.

Alongside teaching 1:1 and coaching chamber music over the last 12 years, I've led numerous workshops, including ‘Music First’ and ‘Music Masters’ in the UK and taught on the Primary and Senior Arpeggione Viola Courses run by Jacky Woods, coaching some of the UK’s leading young musicians. As a member of the European String Teachers’ Association, I have participated in ESTA conferences across Europe, including at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, and in Valletta, Europe’s cultural capital in 2018.

I regularly prepare his students for auditions, competitions and exams at all levels, and has a holistic teaching style incorporating music theory, aural and sight reading skills and physical awareness. I hold a Masters degree with first class honours from the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin, where I studied with Tabea Zimmermann, and the University of Arts, where I studied with Lawrence Power, as well as a Bachelors degree with the same distinction from the Royal Academy of Music in London, where I began in the primary department 20 years ago.

I have a passion for European classical music and I enjoy teaching people of all ages. I am a senior violinist and a graduate of conservatory studies in piano instrument playing and have been involved with both instruments for almost two decades. I hold a conservatory degree in harmony and counterpoint and fugue all with a grade of excellent from a recognized conservatory and I am now involved in composition having completed all the other higher theoretical courses. In my second leve education i have graduated from the Ilion Music School with a high school diploma, and I have 6+ years of long-term studies at the Department of Music Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA).
