Hello everyone! After a few years teaching in several institutions in France and after an expatriation in Quebec, I decided to focus only on private lessons, online and at home. Here is the beginning of a new experience :) At the level of my schooling, I studied at the secondary level in literature (French literary baccalaureate with reinforced English and option arts), before completing a degree (equivalent of the baccalaureate of Quebec - it is to be lost!) In literature and English-speaking civilization, before starting a master's degree in English-language literature. I was a teaching assistant in high school English at a college in Angers (France) for two years. I learned the basics of the job. I took charge of groups or entire classes, including a group of allophone students for FFL classes, I participated in the implementation of sequences and the evaluation of students while enjoying the knowledge -to do my tutors English teachers. I have also been a substitute teacher on long term positions (all year). In French high school, with seven classes on three levels (bac S and ES). So I prepared my students for the baccalaureate exam and took care of my classes for progression in English. I also taught in post-secondary, BTS. In parallel, I have always given private lessons in English and French, for various levels; international students, university students, children, young people, for exam preparation (bac, TEFaQ and TOEIC especially). I gave classes online (Skype, Hangouts) and face-to-face, at home or in public places (university, library). I like the convenience of the online course, it allows the use of interesting tools and the learner often feels more comfortable :) I have also been au pair twice, in England. Each time, I was in charge of three children from the same family, for whom I had to plan activities and teach the basics of French. I loved this experience! I am currently an expatriate in Montreal where I greatly appreciate the mix of English and French. The city lends itself to an endless cultural opening which I could not do without. That's it for me! See you soon :) Delphine

The practice of chess as a healthy awakening activity with a very strong capacity for mental and intellectual development. The game of chess uses combinatorial analysis, calculation of variants, probabilities, counting, all strategy-oriented. In the tactical approach, the game of chess calls for the mobilization of resources for gains in intermediate positions on the simple fact that we have several entities which move differently on the game grid... You are at the right address to learn to play chess and implement the added value of this discipline in our everyday situations.

Hey there! My name is Sarah-Maude and I am a university student. I am starting my third year at McGill in Civil Engineering. I've completed my CEGEP in two years at Vanier College in Health Sciences. I have always dedicated my time to my studies! I understand that some students might have difficulty learning new subjects at school or on their own and this is why I am willing to help them keep up with school work and maintain a good rhythm all through the academic year. I think what can make me stand out is the fact that I myself had difficulty with school work back when I was in high school and I had a tutor for four years straight. I think being taught a topic one on one is really advantageous. Whether it be for help with homework or just a repeat of my school notes with examples, a few hours a week really helped me! I speak French regularly, but I have done my students in English all my life therefore I am perfectly bilingual! Any students primary to high school level. If you are looking for a tutor whether it be once or twice a week or every other week you can message me via this website!

Engineer in nuclear engineering, Doctor of Physics, former Assistant Professor of Physics at the University, Examiner in preparatory class, and Professor of Mathematics at the Lycée, I offer support: Mathematics and in Physics-Chemistry in the French system up to the Scientific Terminal Mathematics in the Quebec system up to Cégep Science de la nature Mathematics for the preparatory year at HEC Montréal The purpose of the first meeting is to get to know the student and to determine his current level in mathematics and / or physics-chemistry, what are his strengths and weaknesses, and what are the objectives to be achieved. From the observation, I establish with the student and his parents an educational assessment (notions to be reviewed as a priority, working method, duration and frequency of lessons) aimed at best meeting the student's objectives. My methodology consists of first acquiring a good and deep understanding of the different aspects of the course and then sifting through the exercises and problems that allow the student to understand the usefulness and the extent of the effectiveness of each theorem or trick. . At the end of a session, I make sure that several objectives are met: -Have helped the student to master his course from start to finish, -Having helped the student to do but especially to understand the exercises while ensuring that the writing of the solution is correct and rigorous. -Present methods and tips that the student can use and reuse in multiple situations, it happens as follows: I solve with the student an exercise with the spirit of resolution done in class, then I present him a method of resolution alternative if I consider that this can be used in other exercises. This methodology has paid off from my experiences with a multitude of students of different levels, understanding the course and mastering the exercises makes the student average rise very quickly. Finally, the lessons can also take place remotely if that suits the student.
