Singing lessons! Together we'll find your unique sound, your voice, and your expression! In Berlin or online!

From 106 C$ /h

Singing should be one thing above all: fun! My lessons focus on your personal development and your well-being. I tailor each lesson to your voice, your level, and your goals – whether it's just for fun, to prepare for performances, or for exams.

Together, we'll work on your singing and breathing technique and find the perfect place for your voice. You choose songs you'd like to sing—or I can help you find suitable pieces. Whether it's musicals, pop, rock, jazz, or soul—I'll accompany you in a wide variety of musical styles.

A typical lesson includes:
Warm-up: Relaxation and breathing exercises for a relaxed start
Voice training: Exercises through all registers (chest, mixed and head voice)
Song work: Interpretation and technical implementation of your desired song

The combination of technique and emotion is particularly important to me. We delve into the lyrics to find the right feeling for your interpretation – this will make your singing authentic and expressive.

Let's discover and develop your voice together! I look forward to hearing from you.

I look forward to meeting you,
Marco

I'm a former New York City voice teacher/coach, professional singer and an award winning composer who has relocated to Berlin. I've taught with the most reputable children's musical theatre organizations in NYC with students of all ages as well as private students and I've worked with Broadway stars such as Laura Osnes, Karen Mason and Ron Bohmer, who have also recorded my music, and I'm excited to bring my 20 yrs of teaching experience to Berlin! I teach songwriting as well, if that is something you're interested in.

I'm a classically trained singer who performed with the San Francisco Opera and other companies both in opera and musical theatre for many years. Though I specialize now in musical theatre, I am happy and comfortable teaching you to sing in whatever style you prefer. The basics are the same! In our lessons, we will work on breath, correct vowel pronunciation, placement, diction, etc... as well as getting rid of the tension and habits that keep us from singing freely and beautifully. We will also work on the musical and dramatic aspects of the material we choose together, so that you will feel comfortable at an audition or a performance. And I keep lessons fun so that you can both learn and progress each week AND enjoy yourself!

Whether just starting out or a professional who needs help working on an audition or role, I can help you reach your goals!

Take voice lessons from a professional classical musician! I specialize in Operatic and classical singing but teach all levels and types of vocal technique.

Have you ever wanted to try out singing? From complete beginners to advanced performers wanting to refresh their technique all are welcome!

My lessons are for students of all ages and are customized to meet each individual's needs and goals, whether you're interested in opera, classical singing, or pop.

As an experienced lyrical tenor, my mission is to share my knowledge of healthy vocal techniques that will help you grow both personally and professionally.

Best,

I work with adults who want to sing, but often feel unsure about their voice.

Many of my students come in with thoughts like:
• “I can’t sing”
• “I sound bad”
• “I don’t know what I’m doing”

That’s completely okay — and very common.

In my lessons, we focus on understanding your voice step by step, without pressure or judgment.

I teach using Modern Vocal Training (MVT), a science-based method that helps you:
• understand what’s actually happening in your voice
• gain more control and stability
• move more easily through your range
• sing with more confidence

What you can expect:
•. clear explanations (not vague advice)
•. exercises adapted to your voice
•. a structured but flexible approach
•. a calm, supportive space to explore your voice

My focus is not on perfection, but on helping you feel safe and confident while singing.

Lesson format:
•. intro session (30 minutes)
•. 1:1 sessions (45 minutes)
•. online or in Berlin

Suitable for:
•. beginners
•. people who feel insecure about singing
•. hobby singers who want more clarity and control

If you’re curious, you can start with a first session and see how it feels.

I offer individual singing lessons for beginners and advanced students. The lessons are aimed at anyone who wants to get to know their voice better, improve their singing technique, or develop musically and artistically.

In our lessons, we work on topics such as breathing technique, posture, resonance, intonation, expression, and musical interpretation. I tailor the lessons to your personal goals and skill level, whether you want to sing classical music, opera, musicals, or simply with more freedom and confidence.

Through my opera studies at the Berlin University of the Arts and my experience in dealing with people of different age groups, I place particular emphasis on a relaxed, motivating and creative learning atmosphere.

Lessons can be held in German, English or Chinese.

I am a singer, songwriter, and producer, and I have been singing for 15 years. I now know exactly what it takes to find one's own voice, refine technique, and ultimately be able to express oneself and have fun with one's voice.

I have developed a method based on three main pillars:
- Breath control and technique
- Pitch control
- Interpretation

My lessons cover vocal exercises, interpreting your favorite songs, learning proper breathing techniques, and understanding the singing process.
Everyone has different needs and goals when it comes to singing, so my job is to provide exactly what you need to improve.

You will learn how to play simple chords on grids, sing pop songs, and publish your songs or covers on YouTube.
