About Me

Hi! I’m Victor Santiago, an engineer and experienced tutor with an international background. For more than 8 years, I’ve supported children and teenagers in Maths, Chemistry and Science, particularly students attending international schools and following the IB curriculum.

My teaching style is friendly, patient and practical. I like to understand how each student learns and adapt my lessons accordingly, using real examples and clear explanations to make difficult concepts easier to understand.

When I interviewed with Optiver, Flow Traders, DRW, Maven Securities and All Options, I prepared seriously. At my desk I could solve the probability questions and the mental maths without much trouble. In the real interview, with someone watching and the clock running, I got nervous and made mistakes I normally wouldn't. Looking back, what I needed wasn't more theory. I needed practice under real conditions, with someone telling me exactly where I went wrong.

That's what these sessions are for.

Each session is a mock interview in the style used by the major market making firms, followed by detailed feedback. We work on:
