About Me

I'm a master graduate in Civil Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, with some years of experience in private teaching. I'll help you boost your understanding of math, physics or chemistry both form a theoretical and practical point of view.
I help students to develop a deep understanding in the core topics of calculus, linear algebra, trigonometry, statistics, linear programming, etc., Scientific subjects can be an annoying hurdle for many students attending middle school, high school or university.
Through these 3+ years of teaching, I have developed a sense of understanding the students' needs and accordingly devised strategies to help them through. I also specialise in elucidating dyscalculia and help students to overcome the 'fear of math'.

Currently, I am a visiting scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master's student of Environmental and Land Planning Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. Besides, I graduated as a Civil Engineer in 2014. On the other hand, due to my passion for music, I started learning electronic music and I am a professional DJ since 2011. This class is for those who want to learn mathematics. I believe that math is fun and I try my best to make mathematics fun. A lot of us really don’t realize because it is taught in a robotic way. You’re given a problem and you’re asked to memorize steps to solve it and then you just blindly apply it and try to be careful so you don’t make an error, but you don’t really know why you’re doing those steps. It shouldn’t be like that. It should really about being creative, coming up with those steps on your own and everyone will come up with a different way to do it. Mathematics is great because there is always one answer, but there are many ways to come to that answer. And in school we are taught one way to come to that answer, so mathematics is about coming up with your own creative ways to come to that one right answer. There’s not one path and everybody has their personal path that they can discover and that’s what makes it fun. That’s the adventurous part of mathematics, the creative part of mathematics and we miss that in the way mathematics is taught. So I try to show my student's what mathematics is, and after that things become very easy. You won't have to memorize anything, but you should be ready to do some hard work.

Maths and physics are the subjects where the knowledge of theoretical and practical is required and only these are subjects where you get more practice to solve different problems which will help to solve in the real world.
