Classical & Modern Piano | MILAN and On-Line — Lessons & Solutions | Moscow Conservatory Graduate
From 88 C$ /h
🗝️ Whatever your starting point, I tailor every piano lesson to your unique goals and learning style, helping you play with greater freedom and confidence.
My name is Alex Davydov, a classically trained piano teacher with years of experience educating adults and children in Milan and Internationally.
— Classical foundation & Modern possibilities
My teaching is rooted in the classical piano tradition of the Moscow Conservatory, while remaining open to modern repertoire, different musical styles and improvisation.
A strong classical foundation gives you versatile tools that can be applied far beyond one particular genre — whether your goal is personal enjoyment, an examination, Conservatory admission or simply becoming a more complete musician.
— Autonomy & Confidence
One of the central aims of my teaching is to help you become independent at the piano.
You will learn how to approach difficulties, find practical solutions and organise your practice with greater clarity. Solid coordination and healthy hand ergonomics will help you develop agility, freedom and control without unnecessary tension. The result is greater confidence — both in your practice and when sharing your music with others.
— Quality Materials & International Certifications
I use carefully selected teaching materials and can help you prepare for:
• Music Colleges and Conservatory entrance examinations
• ABRSM and Trinity examinations
🎁 You are welcome to book an introductory lesson to meet me, discuss your goals and experience the approach firsthand.

About Me
Music and the piano have been an integral part of my life since childhood.
After graduating from a Music College, I continued my studies at the Moscow State Conservatory, where I graduated in Piano and Composition.
Since 2001, I have been teaching piano and music in Milan to children and adults. Over the years, my musical education has been enriched by studies in Music Therapy in Milan and Alexander Technique for musicians in Berlin — an approach that develops body awareness, improves posture and helps reduce unnecessary tension. These principles have become an important part of my teaching, helping students develop a more natural and coordinated relationship with the instrument.
My approach
I believe that every student has a unique combination of personality, physical qualities, musical sensitivity and life experience. Rather than imposing one method on everyone, I look for the approach that allows each person to learn most naturally and effectively.
This means paying attention not only to what you play, but also to how you listen, move, understand and express yourself at the piano.
