Creative and Interactive English Lessons For Beginners

Hello! I am Stefania, I am an artist and I recently graduated from NABA University, which helps me teach English to children in fun and creative ways! I offer English lessons for children between 7-18. My lessons focus on creativity, being able to express yourself in a different language and confidence, taking each child at their own pace. Further, lessons will be either held at my home or the child's. Levels between A1 to B2 are welcomed!

Basically, I love teaching Italian and Violin! I do it with passion, love, and putting all my self in it. I shall guarantee professionalism, high teaching level and friendly attitude.

Italian is the language of Opera and the fashion: understanding the language helps people to get deeper in the Italian culture and to enjoy literature, arts, music and all the most beautiful cities in Italy. My method consists in using grammar books to build solid skills but also reading original samples from Italian newspapers and books, making funny activities and also meeting Italian speakers in Bruxelles to consolidate practical skills of my students. I will encourage students to practise Italian with the new technology and have fun through listening to lovely Italian popular song, arias from Italian Opera or cartoons for children of amateurs (for more details, do not hesitate to contact me).

Violin, solfège. I studied Master of Arts in Violin in London at the Royal Academy of Music. As violinist and musician, I think it is fundamental for a student of music to understand their bodies in order to feel the inner voice of themselves.
I studied Alexander technique so in my teaching I always talk about relaxing, feeling the right tensions and avoiding the not-useful ones.
I will be happy to teach violin to everyone who needs to improve musicality, technique, self-consciousness or simply who like to enjoy violin.
As a violinst, I usually play with ensemble or in chamber music projects across the Europe. Basically I play historical instrument but I fell equally at home on the modern violin ( for more details and cv, do not hesitate to contact me).

I teach English as well.

One on one piano lesson.
My students range from 6-70, but open for all possibilities.

Beginner students will start with:
1. Piano Adventure method book (Lesson, Technique, and Performance Book)
2. Additional technical exercises and performance pieces from other books.

Intermediate students will first have a discussion with me, and we will decide how to move on.

Students are also expected to take piano exams such as ABRSM or Royal exam (at least once a year).

All online students will gather in zoom for performance classes to play for each other, every one to two months, and two performance to be shared to public twice a year (summer recital and christmas recital)

Optional: additional technique class once a month with a group of 4-8 students.

I was born in the Czech Republic, where I also studied at the Conservatory of Prague. My main field is composition and that is why my teaching method is different from the other teachers who studied piano.

In 2016, I founded a school called the Lastwin School of Liberal Arts. Under this shield, I taught with my wife in our apartment. We were intrigued by how many parents enrolled their children for lessons. Even the parents themselves wanted to try the lessons. The method I use liked the headmistress of the Montessori school called Edison, where I taught piano and music lessons.

I was wondering why, they do not use services like state music schools, which are significantly cheaper. The answer was very simple. Such institutions have clear textbooks, clear curricula, and everyone must follow this.

But I am very sure, that this is not Art.

I am for Liberal Art. And I want to be one of the other teachers who understand individuality and try to subordinate as much as possible to the student.

For my inspiration, I take a tree that becomes a tool for every case when something is unclear to students.

My name is Angela. I'm pianist and singer from Italy. I used to live in London.
I can offer piano and voice lessons in Italian and English.
I Studied piano classical music at Conservatorio N.Piccinni of Bari and Jazz voice at Nino Rota of Monopoli and then I moved to London.
In 2018 I released my first album "Blue Painitngs" and in 2020 I released my second album "Journey"
I'm now releaseing a new album for Harp and Piano in collaboration with Susanna Curci.

Hello!

Being a singer and a singing teacher, many many times I have found myself in the situation of having to work on ear training, or solfège, or music theory... or all the above listed!
Approaching music and having no clue of these elements can totally be intimidating and off-putting, but in 2023 I feel like it’s a pity that these subjects still are looked at with such a fear. I want to prove to you that building this basic knowledge can be easy, accessible, and not heavy at all!
My program is not fixed: I’ll build it on your specific needs, whether they are preparing an exam, curiosity, or getting better at pitch matching... we will discuss it together. I have many books and materials, and I honestly prefer to draw blackboards by myself a lot of times. Unless you want to, I won’t ask you to buy any material, so the only cost that you will have to sustain is for the time of the class.

As a pianist who has been performing/recording different styles of music for many years, I have developed a wholistic view of the instrument and its role in music. The goal of this course is that my students will build a strong pianistic foundation while playing the styles of music that inspire them the most.

The structure of the lessons will be generally divided to two main parts:

- Fundamentals of piano playing (including various techniques and methods that enhance strong piano skills and habits).

- Working on the music that is most inspiring for my students (including studying written pieces, learning music by ear, composing, improvising, and many other tools).

There’s a lot to be said about how a musician can make a musical instrument ‘speak’ and one of the goals of this course is to help my students find their own unique and authentic way of playing the music they love on the piano.

I can teach lessons (fluent English or Spanish) to complete beginners and as a former ABRSM and Trinity student I can assist to teaching pieces and assisting in performance. I passed the IB 2 year music course (performance, music theory, and music creation) so I have extensive knowledge on all music subjects. I believe it’s important to meet twice a week at least and I will have progress reports on a notebook and not only will I teach how to read sheet music but also performance and finger techniques.
