About Me

Hey there, I’m Francisco, a Mexican student of Literature and Linguistics. As such, I have a good grasp on not only our culture but the way it expresses itself on the language we use, and I try to integrate that into my classes; which are usually half Spanish and half Mexican culture, and why we speak the way we do. I have a few months of experience so far, but I’m passionate about giving classes and helping people communicate the way they need to, as well as learn about my country; also, I’m eager to keep teaching since its something that rewards me in more than one level.
As a rule, I like to start with your needs, and your knowledge. The sum of those two factors then allows me to trace a path for our learning.
It will be challenging, and sometimes there will be no other choice left than to memorize because Spanish is a complex language; however. To the uninitiated, a grammar book seems to be written in another language because the meaning of the words is incomprehensible. In a down-to-earth way, I'll translate the grammar into familiar words. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning while having a positive mindset.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:
