About Me

My name is Manu and I am a Singer-songwriter, vocal coach, and producer.
I've been in the music industry for more than 20 years.
I am a very passionate teacher who encourages my students to discover and develop their full potential regardless of their experience.
Being a vocal coach for reality TV shows La Academia USA, Disney High School Musical (Mexico) and La Academia: última generación plus having my own Voice Lab Studio for the past three years has allowed me to discover and implement methods designed specifically to train and improve each vocal register from the chest voice to the whistle.

My professional training in singing began under the guidance of teachers Gramatula Jouvardas and Alfredo Jaime. In addition, I studied Harmony and Composition under Juan Carlos Cialella. Argentina.

Between 2009 and 2011, I participated as a vocal coach for the reality TV shows La Academia USA, High School Musical (Mexico) and La Academia: última generación.
I have collaborated with renowned composers and producers such as Juan Carlos Calderón and Aureo Baqueiro as a vocal director.
By mid-2011, I released my second album, which included songs written by Luis Fonsi and Claudia Brant.
In 2017, I started Voice Lab Studio which offers an encouraging learning environment dedicated in helping singers of all age ranges and abilities to develop their vocal skills.

My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education.
My experience runs mostly in early and chamber music, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals.
As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborated with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs.

Folk or classical acoustic guitar.

The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation.

For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (...).

For intermediaries: development of rhythm, construction of chords, writing of tablatures, basic notions of harmony (...).

Depending on your goals, you can learn, if you wish, to play 60 to 80% of current music from the first lessons, which often use the same chords and the same techniques. The objectives take into consideration the following points:

At my studio my students will not only learn how to play the piano, but they will receive a complete musical education in order to achieve their musical dreams. Composing your own music has always been a very rewarding task. I have had a great interest in composing for over 45 years. I have composed for various combinations of instruments and voices in a wide variety of styles. Having been a music teacher in a comprehensive school for over 30 years, I have had a lot of very relevant experience in teaching composition to a wide range of different ages and abilities.
