Hello, I'm Diego, a professional musician and guitar teacher. I have extensive experience teaching classes for people of all levels and ages, both individually and in groups. I have advanced musical training with an official degree (higher degree in jazz and contemporary music). I teach singing, piano, music awareness/introduction and solfège.

I live in Madrid and I am a student of a Higher Degree in Singing (Jazz and Modern Music). I dedicate a good part of my time to teaching (musical and linguistic) in the format of private classes online or at home.

I started giving private classes at home to children when I lived in Germany. During the 22-23 academic year I gave piano classes to students of all ages at the RedMusik Music School (Igualada, Catalonia).
I studied the piano and other instruments for more than 15 years at the UGDA and at the Luxembourg City Conservatory of Music. After many years of music theory and piano I obtained the „Première Mention“ certificate from the Conservatory, with the qualification "Très Bien".

A good music lesson should include not only technique and reading sheet music, but also theoretical and harmonic study, improvisation, recreational playing with the instrument, and ear training and rhythm exercises. I am interested in designing the lesson creatively and adapting it to the needs and desires of the student.

Ussually, my lesson programme is start with a short warm up (technique exercises) to continue with different cello pieces chosen by the students.
