To create the best context for learning music it is very important that you like the music you are playing and that you enjoy while you practice. That is why I like to offer a wide range of possibilities and discover together with each student what is the best way to go. And the answer is always in the tastes, desires and expectations of the one who is learning.
I believe that technique, improvisation, notions of musical composition, theory and analysis must be learned through the music that you want to play and the music that you already know how to play. And not as an abstract knowledge. The best way to assimilate music is by playing it and facing the challenges that each piece, song or composition offers.
It is important to remember that music can be made from scratch regardless of your level or age.
Extra information
The student will be provided with all the material during the classes: books and scores in pdf format, music to have as a reference to listen to ...

I am Mara, a clarinetist trained at the Oreste Camarca Professional Conservatory, where I obtained my professional clarinet degree. I am currently completing my degree in History and Science of Music and Music Technology at the Autonomous University of Madrid, which allows me to combine instrumental practice with a broad and contemporary view of music, blending performance, analysis, and musical creativity.

We will offer personalized lessons tailored to each student's level and needs, based on the goals we set together. This includes both music theory and instrument playing. We will learn to read music and scores, understand the clarinet, its sound, fingering, breathing, and basic technique... focusing on the music and style that interests us most to fully enjoy it, always respecting each person's learning pace.

Music is a form of expression, knowledge, and enjoyment... it doesn't matter how old you are, but how much you want to learn, discover your instrument, and love music. Every student is unique, and my goal is to guide you on your journey so you can find your own sound, gain confidence, and enjoy the experience.

Whether you're starting from scratch or already playing the clarinet but feeling stuck, unmotivated, or uncertain, we'll work together to overcome these challenges. I'd be delighted to help you progress, rediscover your passion, and reconnect with the magic of music. I offer flexible scheduling and in-person lessons, along with close support to ensure consistent and motivating progress at every stage of your learning.
