About Me

I started playing music at the age of six and have been connected to music ever since. What I enjoy most about teaching is helping someone go from their very first sounds on the violin to actually playing music they enjoy.

My lessons are relaxed, encouraging, and adapted to each student. If you've never played an instrument before, that's absolutely fine — we'll start from the beginning and take everything step by step.

I believe learning the violin should feel rewarding rather than stressful. My goal is to help you build a good foundation, gain confidence with the instrument, and most importantly, enjoy making music.

Children and adults are both welcome!

Education

I started studying music at the age of six and entered the Tehran Conservatory of Music at eleven, where I received several years of formal training in violin and classical music.

I later continued my violin studies at university, focusing on violin performance.

Experience / Qualifications

I have several years of experience teaching violin to both children and adults, with lessons adapted to each student's individual level and goals.

I have also performed with orchestras and ensembles in Iran and the Netherlands, giving me experience in both individual and ensemble playing.

In my lessons, I focus on building a solid and comfortable technique, developing musicality, and helping students become more confident and independent with their instrument.

I believe that music helps us to develop skills and qualities such as patience, accuracy and sensitivity that we all need in our daily life. It can be also a great way to connect to other people or to yourself.

In the lessons we will focus on your needs and wishes both if you are a beginner or an advanced player. My goal would be to make a beginner feel comfortable with features such as good orientation in the scores and on the keyboard, musical and rhythmical playing, basic technical skills and knowledge of musical terminology. With an advanced player we will further develop their own interpretation and musical ideas.

Lessons can be taught in English, Czech or Russian.

I teach classes for all ages and levels (French or English), no musical knowledge is required and the repertoire can include any style of music. If necessary and in parallel with violin lessons, I can give music theory lessons. I travel to your home (Liège and surrounding areas) and I have a vehicle. Passionate about research on the well-being of the musician, I base my lessons on relaxation, good humor and the desires of the student in order to create a bond of trust and better progress. Breathing, awareness of the body and feelings, work on posture, development of sound and liberation of expression. I also offer personalized support for students preparing for exams or conservatory entrance exams. As an active orchestral performer, I bring my professional experience on stage directly into my teaching. I help students develop a solid technique while fostering musicality, expression, and confidence. I use a variety of teaching approaches, including Suzuki, ABRSM, Trinity, and Galamian methods, adapting them to each student’s age, personality, and goals.

In my lessons, I also focus on how to practice effectively at home, tackle challenging passages, and prepare confidently for public performances.

I began my musical journey with El Sistema in Venezuela and continued my studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid, specializing in both performance and pedagogy. I completed a Master’s in Violin Performance with a focus on Spanish music, as well as a symphonic master’s in collaboration with the Spanish Radio and Television Orchestra (Orquesta RTVE).

I currently collaborate with the Philharmonie Zuidnederland and the Spanish Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra, while also teaching private violin and viola lessons. I believe that discipline and enjoyment go hand in hand, and I enjoy guiding each student in their artistic and personal growth.
