I’m a drawing teacher and artist living in Paris. Since 6 years, I provide drawing class to many publics, from school to urban sketching sessions. Since two years, I also give online drawing class for all public. I have an IPad, so I can share my screen to guide my student by drawing directly on it and show them some drawing technics as if we were on the same spot. In this class, students will explore foundational techniques the essentials of line, form, shading, and texture. Throughout the course, you'll experiment with different mediums—pencil, charcoal, ink—and gain hands-on experience with a variety of subjects, from still lifes to landscapes and portraits.

Basic fundamentals of drawing all starts with shapes and shadows. Breaking down images into shapes and basic gestures will aid in the final product looking clean. You will learn how to break down images (ie; people, animals, buildings, etc) into basic shapes, and managable chunks.

In my work, I use both traditional techniques (watercolor, painting, pencils, engraving) and digital techniques to create illustrations and animations! You will be taught how to draw facial features and details on the body proportionally through practicing on models online and live, doing different poses. I will guide you to see and prioritize details that can truly encapsulate the essence of a human through a small lecture. However, most of your learning will be through active practice. With different lessons, we will be focusing on different concepts, but I will give you feedback regardless, through active practice. Figure drawing isn't easy, but it gets easier over time when you know what details to look for.
