About Me

Former student in Luxembourg and Belgium, I am a polyglot and tutor for children, youngsters and adults.
Languages are a big part of our life and I wish to practice them with you in a supportive way.

Who ? I am 51 years old and have been a French teacher for 27 years in French-speaking secondary education in Belgium. For three years now, I have decided to follow the entrepreneurial path by offering freelance courses. With hindsight today, I regret not having done it sooner as the exchange with new people, young and old, French-speaking or not, is particularly enriching.
What? I offer French or FLE courses based on multiple sources and I renew them regularly because it is important to be in adequacy with the current society.
Or ? I go to the learner's home where we decide to do the course online.
When? I work at the Belgian-Luxembourg border and I go to Luxembourg 4 to 5 times a week, usually at the beginning or end of the afternoon. I am also available on weekends.

Hello everyone,

My name is Edouard, and I am currently doing a Master 1 in France, specializing in financial auditing. During my academic career, I had the opportunity to acquire solid training in various subjects, notably thanks to my training in ECS preparatory class in France.

I offer you a new learning experience.

To the uninitiated, a grammar book seems to be written in another language because the meaning of the words is incomprehensible. In a down-to-earth way, I'll translate the grammar into familiar words. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning while having a positive mindset.

You can book a complete course with regular sessions or individual lessons to overcome a specific problem, such as pronunciation or a particular point in grammar.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next.

When it comes to the alphabet, words and sentences, it's more or less the same, but school pedagogy, school textbooks and regular lessons still follow the rote learning approach. In the lessons I propose, you will learn to use patterns because this is more efficient and faster.

Learning is easy, but unlearning bad habits is extremely difficult. This makes it all the more important to learn the right reflexes as early as possible.

My offer is aimed at both teenagers and adults who want to acquire a solid foundation of the Latin language without the time-consuming diversions of absurd school methods.
