About Me

My first musical steps started at an early age, as I was born into a family of musicians.

Today I have two higher educations from Zurich and Brussels as a saxophonist and graduated from music college in Latvia as a pianist.

After 9 years of teaching experience, it is more important to me than ever to pick up each student where they are and to recognise and encourage their own (musical) personality. As a classical saxophonist, I also attach great importance to the technical basis (solid air support and sound) and the earliest possible integration into different music styles.

As a saxophonist I took part in various competitions, national and international, including the Contemporary music competition in Zurich University of Arts (1st Prize-2019), the Concours International Léopold Bellan (2nd Prize-2020), Malta International Music competition (Grand Prix-2015).

I am a cello teacher so If you are looking for cello lessons in Luzern, I would be glad to meet you.
It doesn’t matter if you are starting to learn the cello or if you never played it. Music can be fun to learn and explore and I would love to show you that during my lessons.

I am fluent in German, Portuguese, Spanish and English.

The lessons can have the duration of 30, 45, 60, 90 or 120 mins. They can also be online, at my location or at the students location. According to each person needs and preferences.

The main goal of these lessons will be to help you reach your expectations as a cello player and as a musician, either you want to delve into improvisation, methodology or just prepare for an exam I do my best to adapt my lessons to your needs. Also along the way I hope I can help you discover new works or music genres and also help you understand musical notation.

The most important part is that you improve and learn how to express yourself through music regularly and have fun with that knowledge.
My lessons and teachings are never the same. I don’t follow just a method or a “Cello Schule”. I insert a lot of different subjects, games and improvisation during lessons to make them more creative and fun.

Every student has their individual needs and my teaching focuses on that. In the end I just want you to feel good playing the cello, develop your ear, sense of rhythm and find a way to combine your daily life with music learning in a creative way!

My classes are aimed at people of all ages or levels and with an interest in any musical genre (classical, jazz, pop/rock, blues, folk and improvisation).
I have 3 years of experience teaching clarinet, the lessons are personalized based on each student's interests. We set goals that we develop in the lessons. My name is Marie and I'm originally from Paris. I began my music studies at the age of 5 and then studied flute with F. Chatoux, the principal flutist of the Paris Opera. After receiving the highest study award at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris from N. Rozat, I joined P. Grehl's class in music at the HSLU Lucerne in the summer of 2018. In the summer of 2021, I completed my bachelor's degree with Pirmin Grehl in Lucerne and am currently completing my music education studies at
Pirmin Grehl with a minor in orchestra under Sarah Rumer. I have won first prize twice in national competitions in France and Switzerland.

Hello! My name is Isabel, I am a Spanish cellist. I love teaching, I also learn a lot from it, and I have experience teaching both children and adults in institutions such as the Music School of Lugano.
