I was a teaching assistant in high school English at a college in Angers (France) for two years. I learned the basics of the job. I have also been a substitute teacher on long term positions (all year). In French high school, with seven classes on three levels (bac S and ES). In parallel, I have always given private lessons in English and French, for various levels; international students, university students, children, young people, for exam preparation (bac, TEFaQ and TOEIC especially). I gave classes online (Skype, Hangouts) and face-to-face, at home or in public places (university, library). I like the convenience of the online course, it allows the use of interesting tools and the learner often feels more comfortable :) I have also been au pair twice, in England. Each time, I was in charge of three children from the same family, for whom I had to plan activities and teach the basics of French. I loved this experience!
